Day Two: Weardrobe Rocks Our Socks

I have always had wonderful luck with roommates. When I was in Greece I landed with the most chill, relaxed group of ladies (whom I had never met before) and we all clicked wonderfully. In all our months there the closest we came to arguing was over a few dirty dishes and those discussions were incredibly mild. Here, again with Weardrobe arranging our rooms I have lucked out once again. My roommates: Blue Collar Catwalk, Calivintage, and Style Magnet are definitely some of my new favorite people. It's wonderful to be surrounded by so many creative people.

The my personal highlights of the day were:
Chatting on the subway with Tavi (Style Rookie) and Arabelle (Fashion Pirates) about couture.
Shopping in Fred Flare where everyone found something they wanted and most of us walked away with bags.

Being treated so sweetly by the employees of Buffalo Exchange who gave us fans to ward off the late summer NYC heat that was melting us all day.

DIYing in a wonderful artists space some denim from PacSun. It was really cool to see the denim transform under everyone's unique vintage; from distressed and cut off shorts to studs in the shape of snowflake designs.

Our dinner at Fat Hippo with some of the ladies behind Gilt was also an absolute pleasure. Delightful conversation combined with amazing food is difficult to top. (P.S. If anyone wants an invite to Gilt, feel free to email me.)
