So, I just jumped on the
IFB bandwagon. If you're a member please "friend" me so I won't feel like a social outcast...I feel so "out of the loop" on this whole fashion blogging thing. I'm still not sure where I stand. When it started this was just something fun, a little hobby while I languished in rural America, but lately it has become more. I have nearly 3,000 subscribers (a fact that constantly amazes and flatters me), thousands of visitors a day, and invites to events in NYC and LA (most I have to turn down...). It's all very surreal.
So, what is this blog? Is it a hobby or more? I've really got to start figuring things out this year.

This is what I wear to chill with bison in Yellowstone Park. Outfit details: scarf- secondhand, jacket- Urban Outfitters, tee- Thank You Mart, shorts- J Crew pants I cut up, shoes- H&M, sunnies- street vendor

haha, speaking of your fame - I was in urban outfitters today and there was a book there about street fashion and blogging and your picture was in it twice. 'twas surreal and very very cool xxx
Yellowstone Park?!?!? I'm so jealous!!!
How fun dear Rebecca... the name 'Yellowstone' alone conjures childhood images of Yogi Bear and Booboo :) Also, such cute outfits. Very stylish even in the middle of the forest. :)
Not surprised by the 3000 readers. It is interesting to see where it can lead isn't it?
Well, your blog is not only a sort of hobby anymore - maybe it could turned into your future job or anything. But the fact about your fame... I hope people will not only like your blog because its been famous for certain years, but because they want to know you personally - so there are true friendship there. We could never really sure, though. But this is such a great achievement so far and I feel somehow proud with you! Wishing you everything good. <3
who wouldn't love your blog? it's only fair if you get soooo many followers and high daily hits. i love everything about your blog, your photos, your style, and writing. everything.
i love your dress, by the way. and the shoes too :)
you deserve all of your blogging success! i feel like many big name blog with the intention of turning it into a career, but you are and have always been so down to earth and genuine about your blog.
that black h&m dress is just lovely. and you wear shorts so well!
Pondering what your writings and muses are is quite natural, I believe (since I find myself doing the same thinking on a daily basis)
For you, there is one word that seems most approciate as to why you are as well-liked (and followed) as you are: Genuine.
I can only hope to be as such with my little venture one day.

i love your blog, b/c it's something deeper than fashion. it's like you take me on some sort of journey. keep it up!
That's so unusual to see you in shorts, suits you well :p The Yellowstone Park looks beautiful and I looove the waterfall, lucky you !! The H&M dress is gorgeous and I have a crush on your turquoise pendant ! You absolutely deserve all that succes, your blog is a gem :)
You really do deserve every bit of success you have, your blog is amazing, and 2999 other people agree! I don't see how people couldn't love it. You take amazing pictures, wear amazing clothes and write amazing posts :)
xxxx
either way, i'm a huge fan and i love your thoughts and your approach to photographing your outfits!
omfg, a bison! Ahaha! What a funny guy, lurking around in the background :D
I love how your shots have evolved--suddenly, maybe just lately, they seem so wide and big! You get a sense of the space and hugeness.
As always your blog is such a pleasure--it's so wonderful how successful it has become, and the whole while it seems very much that you're still true to posting and writing what you want--which is why we all love to read it so--despite all the success!
<3
Hi hon, how are you? It has been a while since I last came by and I am loving the blog revamp!
It's all looking really nice and professional and therefore, I think the IFB is a great choice.
I am totally loving your last outfit the b&w one, beautifully complemented by a gorgeous necklace.
See you soon.
PS: Visitors to this blog are more than welcome to visit mine too! x
I think we all are somehow proud of you:) Some of us followed you in silence (like me) and I like the fact that you are very down to earth and a normal girl. I agree with Claradevi and it's difficult to say who follows you because you are a "famous blog" and who follows you from their heart to say it in "one word".
Anyway, I just felt to say that I'm happy for your success too:)
xx from Madrid.
Beautiful pictures...and outfits! You have an amazing style. I love our cream colored jacket!
Hope you have a great week.
p.s. what kind of camera do you use? Your picture quality is amazing!
gorgeous photos! I wish I was there
Aww, Nasha's so adorable.
Gorgeous photos - I wish I was there in Yellowstone Park to observe bison! That bison pic blew my mind just 'cause I didn't expect it while scrolling down your blog post. It must've been amazing to see them!
Go with the flow! Jewelry designing started out as a one-time project for me. You never know what's going to come down the road and it's good to stay open to all opportunities.
shorts! so cute! and I love the black dress.
If blogging isn't a hobby, then what is it? A way of life? A passion? Maybe the latter, but I think it's important not to let your blog become too huge a part of your life and start defining who you are rather than being something that you do for fun. Not just you, I mean blogs in general. As long as you love it, keep doing it!
P.S. Love the song your title is from!
Whatever it is, you have a knack for it. Your pictures are always so gorgeous!
I love that yellow t-shirt! How cute!
Seems like a wonderful trip and Nasha seemed to be having lots of fun :)
xoxo
Wow, 3000 subscribers!?! That's crazy. You totally deserve it, though.
I love the t-shirt and the dress! I can't wait to see more of Nasha.
Love both the outfits, was surprised to see you in shorts ;) I hope you'll continue having your blog anyhow. It's just a great inspiration to me especially because of your budgets, remixing talents and kindness :)
I saw a Nasha a while ago, in a store and immediately thought of you ;) I don't want to buy one though because I'd just neglect it..
The park looks so beautiful and your dress is lovely!
Nasha is so sweet!!!
x
your blog is amazing! i love the first outfit, it's kinda tomboy and bit different from lots of your other outfits i guess (:
Your in a book!? I think that means this is a little more than a hobby!!!
I love your dress, its so cute!
Love your blog.
AV xo
I think this blog is definitely going to be a gateway to something more for you. Can't wait to see what that 'more' is!
These photos are absolutely gorgeous! And I love that you're wearing shorts! I recently cut up a couple of pairs of pants myself...it was fun (and the results look awesome). Hope all is well!
Maybe is hobby AND more (:
I think, that is your blog so popular, because it emanates such loveliness and wonderfulness, you have that pretty smile and pretty outfits and you always write something interesting. It makes me feel: "Oh, I really wanna know this girl in real life too!"
You looks great in shorts, your neklace is beautiful and Nasha... gotta love her!
Peace and love!
1-your spinning labbit is making me dizzy!
2-i wish i had an h&m near me
3-it take skill to keep up blogging to the point you have soo many followers... so it's something more and i call it a lucky skill! i need more time...
Super cute little sassy shorts and yellow T! Prett post - as always! 3000 subs - Mon Dieu!! You're an international celebrity me thinks, no?
When I see your blog, I know I'm going to keep coming back for more because it's so inspiring!! Your pictures are truly one of a kind and you're such a lovely person! I'm happy for your success and excited to find out where all this going to lead for you!
I love the shoes you wore with your black & white dress in the second picture!! Gorgeous! I've always wanted to visit Yellowstone Park! One day :-) xxoxoxo
Oooh, love the black and white dress! It must be rather stressful to be that popular. Thousands of visitors a day? Wow.
Cannot wait what you decide to do about where to take this lovely blog of yours.
:)
Yellowstone is a marvelous place. Very awe-inspiring. The Earth is so very interesting. I wish I could learn so many things about it, and space, and geology, etc.
love love love the tshirt and dress. Hope it's recent H&M (although my bank balance won't!)
Good luck sorting out blog matters...
Your blog is lovely as per usual, lovely outfit, particulary the head scarf,
have a great rest of summer

I'm excited what will happen when you've finished your thinking... :) All the best, dear.
Dotti
I love your blogg, great outfits. Especially the black and white dress. (:
The shoes your wearing in your pictures with your shorts and t-shirt looks like Keds, do they cost the same and can you get them more colours from H&M?
I like your hair like that reminds me of the old movies :)
Thanks for visiting me, miss thing. I just joined IFB too, and have not the slightest clue on how to go about any of it!
Your ensembles are just darling.
Cheers.
apparently I'm on a commenting spree? anyway, just wanted to say your outfit looks quite cute! I don't think I've ever seen you post shorts or pants.
Love your chill'n with the bison outfit!
I really like your first outfit. Maybe it's because it's so different from your usual style. And I love the headscarf.
Whenever I visit national parks I am always struck by how varied our country is.
I also love how when first arriving in Yellowstone everyone stops the car to take pictures of the bison, but by the end of the trip everyone is just peeved that they are blocking traffic.

wow. 3,000 subscribers! You totally deserve it though. I wish my blog was half as cool as yours ;)
Love your top!
It's not hard to see why you have 3000 subscribers, you have created such a beautiful blog that is always such a delight to visit, this post a prime example! Such beautiful picture! Oh my! That Yak (oops, sorry, Bison)! Nasha's gif is just too cute, and love your outfits! :)
xx
I know what you mean. My friends were telling me how I can turn my blog into a platform of earning money. & I was like, wow, it only started as a hobby! I am not sure if I want to turn it into anything yet.
PS. You're one of the best fashion bloggers around. That's for sure!
aww Nasha is so cute!!
As long as you stay completely true to yourself, your style and your beliefs you can make this blog whatever you want it to be. You are a truley interesting/ fabulous person so it's not unexpected that so many people would fall in love with what you dox
You are an amazing person, and I love your personality and your style. You are one of a kind, and that is why I continue to read your blog! I can only imagine having that many followers!
I hope you are having fun, and that the thoughts of the future does not scare you too much!
GORGEOUS! your leather jacket is to die for!
xoxo
colormenana.blogspot.com
I joined ifb last month - I think it's a great site so far. lots of creative people in one place, helpful articles, etc. I will most certainly friend you. ;)
PS: still quite jealous of your trip!
PPS: I need to go get a few fashion mags this week - I shall add Sept elle to this list ;)
Oh! You're wearing shorts :)
Amazing how hobbies can turn into something so...not what you intended it to be? My blog is still so small and modest, I can only imagine how overwhelming it can all be for you sometimes.
I really like your head scarf.
How did you ever get such a following, you lucky duck?
Yellowstone is such a beautiful backdrop for your gorgeous outfits!
Oh I love the scarf in your hair paired with the sunglasses and shorts! Wonderful photos as usual. Everyone's right. Your blog is great and I'm always amazed that you take the time to comment on mine. You deserve every bit of the success you've had with it.
When you are figuring out your direction to take for blogging do remember that you have 3000 fans who are following you (me one of them). This says more than words about your talent. I think you take beautiful pictures and have an immculate taste in fashion! Your way of blogging also brings people into your world, as if we have known you personally. Keep it up! Luv Ya!!!!
Oh, and I love your black dress!!! How I wish there is H&M in my country.
They are FINALLY opening up a H&M at a mall close to where I live. I'm so excited! I love the black dress you are wearing and the scenery is so beautiful, a perfect backdrop.
3,000 followers is a big number! You've worked hard on your blog though, so it's your reward. Keep it up, you are an inspiration to many including myself.
Absolutely fantastic photos. I love that black and white dress - it's classic and very feminine. I don't think I'd ever have the guts to go to Yellowstone. I'm terrified of bears!
Wow, you get 1,000 people day thats fabulous and amazing. Congrats and I love that secoud outfit!
XOXOX

At the beginig it was a hobby, but then becomes a full time job, right?
Congrats for your blog fame ^^
I love your first outfit, and the second one is perfect.
I'm happy to be one of that 3000 visits

If you like blogging enough, I say, make the most of it.
how is it that you take the most beautiful pictures. where are these places that youre taking your pictures at?!! beautiful.
digging the yellow tee and the head scarf. i'm also luvin all those trees and damn, the waterfall!!!??
i hope you figure everything out soon! good luck with it. i understand your doubts.
that is a PERFECT chillin-with-bison outfit.
and the dress is a beauty.
Love these two outfits, especially that dress! I'm surprised that it hasn't turned into "more" for you, considering how successful you are (though success is how you measure it, I'm talking readers and comments... a post down below has 133 comments as of right now, damn! You're in Cherryblossomgirl territory!) I do like how the blog is a hobby and keeps that personal, diary like touch. It's appealing how you are not promoting an Etsy store of yours or trying to reinforce yourself as some kind of scenester. Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll be met with success. Good Luck!
Just wanted to drop by and say that I love your blog--- you should really consider making this more than a hobby--- I think all your followers would totally agree :)
<3
Masha-Kasha
(masha-kasha.blogspot.com)
i love yellowstone! definitely one of my favorite places in the country. and the outfit you wore there is one of my favorites of yours recently!
it's so exciting to see "real" people getting recognized for their great style and writing ability because of the blogging world. best of luck in that regard!
LOVE the rabbit photo at the end still. So adorable :)
Adore the jacket you wore to the park, really nice !
Congrats to your achievements and blogging success ! Sometimes it does seem surreal, but I think you totally deserve it <3
I think your large and devoted following speaks to the quality of your blog, the inspiring nature of your posts, and the sweetness of your personality. Keep it up!
I love your first outfit! The tennis shoes and your hair are so sweet. And it looks like a beautiful park! I've always wanted to visit. The bison look very hospitable.
Hmm I hope there is no pressure for you to do anything. As long as you continue to love blogging that's all that matters. You will always have people that enjoy your blog for your style, photos, and ideas! :}
i loveee loveeee the picts in your blog!! :)
i love the outfits , too! :)
Oh wow, it does sound like things are getting very serious for you. What to do after graduation is generally a tough decision and I can imagine that the "blog thing" doesn't necessarily make it easier.
I do think that your blog is not just a "blog" any more. It is definitely something special, otherwise that many people (incl me) wouldn't subscribe to you. I guess it's just up to you to decide whether you want the blog to be more than just a hobby :)
Oh, I have been wanting to go to Yellowstone for forever!
I. LOVE. YOUR. T. SHIRT. SO. MUCH.
Hahaha it's gorgeous.
I do hope urban outfitters will ship to New Zealand <3
x.
@Anonymous 3:34, sorry the sneakers are over a year old and I haven't visited an H&M in at least a month...so I don't remember the price and I don't know if they still offer them or in what colors.
YEAYYY new post!!!
ur blog is my new hobby, so this blog of yours is definitely more than just a hobby for you..
where do u find all these beautiful places??
..aidafarina..
there ya go, you've got a friend on IFB. :) wow so is it kiiind of chilly up there in Yosemite? it's been sweltering down here at SoCal.
As for your blog...it may be a hobby but yours is one of my favorites! Bloggers, especially the popular ones, tend to be conceited...but you're not! oh and you post about artists who've caught your attention. When you wrote about Matthew Tischler, I was like "okay I have to follow this blog."
oh I asked if it's chilly over there because you wore a jacket. then I noticed the pictures in which you're wearing a light dress -_-
Hi, I think the difference between you and some ifb stuff is that you blog because of the fun of it. That makes your blog so delightfully charming. So I hope you will be always able to see it as a hobby and not as an obligation! (Even if there is the possibility to make money of it. That combination would be perfect.)
All the best wishes
2000 subscribers? Congratulations! That's no mean feat!
Also, adore the first jacket and the black dress.
You have an eye for such things.
I really love that first outfit! Cute as buttons. It looks like a perfect camping trip type of outfit, and the moto jacket and headscarf makes it superchic.
It's just so easy to fall in love with your blog. You present a very unique viewpoint in fashion with words and pictures--very intellectual, whimsical, and even magical in the way fashion and nature meets. Whether it is a hobby or something more, I look forward to the new developments.
I love your blog! Not only the outfits but also the photos and the way you write! You are a daily inspiration!! :)
Chilling with a bison in Yellowstone Park? Sooooo jealous!
Your blog is so successful exactly because it never feels rushed. What you call it - a hobby or something more - doesn't matter. Just that you make sure you never feel it's a chore other than a fun thing to do.
I love that necklace and the first Tee...WOW!
XoXO
Two very wonderful outfits!
Whatever your blog is about, i think you should keep doing the same thing. I love everything you post here :)
That first outfit is so fun and comfortable, i really like what you did to your hair <3
I love your sneakers! Very chic!
Thank you for voting for my picture on Nadine's blog!
Cheers,
Indy
Both outfits are adorable, and I love that bison! I know what you mean about not knowing where you stand with fashion blogging [not that I know what it feels like to have 3000 readers, though!!]. Your blog has a very personal touch to it, and I suppose that's what attracts so many readers. A lot of "fashion blogs" [I hesitate to use that term, even for my own blog] just repeat the same old boring stuff.
I suppose just keep doing whatever you're doing, as long as it makes you happy! Some blogs aren't worth reading, but yours is. :)
Congrats, on all your success.
The park looks beautiful, great photos. As usual I love your outfits!
belle
I love the shirt in the first picture and the collar of the dress.
Though I'm not a fashion blogger, I LOVE your blogs! :)
so cute i love the tee-shirt and the necklace:)xx
a;slkdalkfda I am extremely fascinated by the TLR on your yellow tee!!! <33333<3<333<3
I know that 95 people have already commented but I think it is so amazing that you were so close to that buffalo. Nature is so majestic and powerful when you sit back and let it take over.
Natasha also looks terribly adorable.
keep on keeping on and good luck with whatever you decide for your blog. it's very exciting! i'm also super excited about that photo of the bison. it's fantastic!!!
I love the yellow top and the black dress with the white color is SO cute!! Also, the necklace looks super cool :)
you really deserved to get all of those things..
I like your blog since the 1st time I saw it..
U look so beautiful and I like your style..
I really like your jacket in the 1st style..and the dress in the 2nd style made you looks soo cute :)..
THERE IS A BISON BEHIND YOU!
OMG that is the coolest thing ever - I'm a huge nature/wildlife buff and the fact that you saw them AND went to JelloStone (lol) makes me tres, tres envious!
Well, you have the followers and the means to do more with your blog but I say just keep doing what you are doing! Don't fix it if it ain't broke, as they say and just get some more advertisers to give you an income :)
i think your blog is amazing. your a great source for inspiration! :)
love your outfits in this post too!
The first outfit is just lovely. I don't know what, but there's something about the simplicity that I just love. Ah...and it's starting to feel like fall, too! AND NASHA! YES.
oh goodness! i need that camera shirt!
the gif is super cute
Your bison photo is too cool. It must have been incredible to see! Gosh, Yellowstone must be absolutely amazing. A friend and I almost took a trip out there a few years ago, but since we were too young to rent a car we opted for another destination instead. I can't wait until I actually go :)
Whatever you decide to do with your blog and whatever path it leads you down, I wish you all the best. Your content is always a joy to read.
You're always so adorable. You pull off a scarf in your hair quite well. Love the bison pic.
That necklace is gorgeous and the black dress is so lovely too!
I'm off to my first event tomorrow for my blog! It's definitely surreal knowing that there are actually people out there who are taking an interest in what you're blogging about, so strange! Having said that, I adore your blog. You take the best photos!
Oh! I just love that shirt with the camera on it! (the whole outfit is amazing) Where did you get it?
sometimes I feel a bit like you, why am I doing this? well I think more than anything is for myself, since here I don't feel judged, unlike on the streets.
but I really hope you continue this blog because it's really amazing what you do, and looks so effortless!
anyway, cute looks! and chill with bison? :) oh and the dress looks perfect because it surely does not scream waterfall visit but somehow its the perfect look there.
x
i love your camera tee shirt! that's so cute. i have an actual camera that looks like that and i wish it could be some kind of clothing/accessory. also, the turquoise necklace is gorgeous. ~Joelle
I love your photos. They are magical! And your outfits so simple with a childish touch! You are so lovely and sensitive and that's why your blog attracts so many people!!
I love these photos! they are so whimsical! I love your t-shirt too- so cute and indy

A bison? Wow. I want to have aphotoshoot with a bison too! Love that yellow shirt. It's sucha great color!
love the gifs - your rabbit is just adorable!
You're wearing shorts! Obvious observation but still. I do love that TLR print t-shirt and your hair is looking wonderful with the headscarf :) Ooh and your necklace in the second outfit is so beautiful. Yay for a Nasha gif!! I found the plush version today, I was sorely tempted to buy it.
I adore the jacket, shorts, and dress!
Lovely post!
omigoodness, are those *gasp* short?! ;) love the jacket and dress.
as for whether your blog is just a "hobby" or not, i'd say for me it's a hobby. i update like twice a week.but you update every day, and have so many followers! i mean, if you get recognized on the street, i think it's more than just a hobby. :)
adorable headband
the jacket and shorts combo is really cute!
You have brought two of favorite things together...nature and fashion...I will love eternally for this this...lol
