A Token From The Ocean

My sister recently spent some time doing research in England and France. Between her visits to various libraries she found the time to pick up a few trinkets for family members. For me, this ring carved from a seashell just arrived in the mail. It is amazing and easily my new favorite piece of jewelry, rather eclipsing all recent purchases I made for myself...theclotheshorse, the clothes horse, clothes horse, daily, style, fashion, outfit, summer, plaid, shirtdress, leather bowling bag, vintage, sea shell ringtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, clothes horse, daily, style, fashion, outfit, summer, plaid, shirtdress, leather bowling bag, vintage, sea shell ringtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, clothes horse, daily, style, fashion, outfit, summer, plaid, shirtdress, leather bowling bag, vintage, sea shell ring

Wow that is a really amazing ring! I've never seen anything like it. The skirt is recent h&m, about a week or two ago, but it was in the sale so it was on it's way out.

What an absolutely beautiful ring! For a moment I thought the shell was just the top of the ring, but the fact that it is all carved is amazing. And I really do love your bowler bag.

That ring is so beautiful! Sigh, and I always covet those shoes every time you wear them.

You look as though you're off on some amazing journey. And I love the custom-made nail color. :) That bowler bag is pretty awesome, too. Is that a little dog by your side? How very Dorothy-esque, traipsing off to find the yellow brick road. <3

That ring is unforgetable and so unique! I love it very much and am glad you have it.

These photos reamind me of the Littlest Hobo :) (because of the dog, not because you look like a hobo lol - you look like a very cute runaway!)

PS having a giveaway :)

what a cool ring! You look like someone Kerouac would have met mid-way through On the Road.

I have a ring that is almost identical to yours! Mine is a little bigger and more purple. Hawaii is lousy with shell rings, but the spikey variety are rarer and prettier, IMO.

What an unique ring! I love it!

How thoughtful of your sister! That ring is amazing, just like your bag. It's wonderful when people close to us know exactly what to gift us. Means they truly know us.

I love these pictures! The bag is a tad suitcase-like, so with you standing on the road like that, it looks like you're going on an adventure. It would be tough to travel with a bag that small, but I have a strange temptation to try it. I love the ring and the detail on the bag!

Annie Spandex said...

Perfect summer ring! I love that shade of nail polish. Can't believe you mixed it! Wow... I have a similar shade by Petites. My boyfriend calls it "Dear You blue" after a Jawbreaker album. He lost a bet and I got to paint his toes with it. Ha...
