My sister recently spent some time doing research in England and France. Between her visits to various libraries she found the time to pick up a few trinkets for family members. For me, this ring carved from a seashell just arrived in the mail. It is amazing and easily my new favorite piece of jewelry, rather eclipsing all recent purchases I made for myself... Outfit details: dress- H&M, shoes- secondhand, bowler bag- secondhand P.S. I mixed my own nail polish from 3 different shades with no exacting measures.
Wow that is a really amazing ring! I've never seen anything like it. The skirt is recent h&m, about a week or two ago, but it was in the sale so it was on it's way out.
What an absolutely beautiful ring! For a moment I thought the shell was just the top of the ring, but the fact that it is all carved is amazing. And I really do love your bowler bag.
You look as though you're off on some amazing journey. And I love the custom-made nail color. :) That bowler bag is pretty awesome, too. Is that a little dog by your side? How very Dorothy-esque, traipsing off to find the yellow brick road. <3
I have a ring that is almost identical to yours! Mine is a little bigger and more purple. Hawaii is lousy with shell rings, but the spikey variety are rarer and prettier, IMO.
How thoughtful of your sister! That ring is amazing, just like your bag. It's wonderful when people close to us know exactly what to gift us. Means they truly know us.
Love how the bad for some reason matches perfectly with your hair! The shell ring is beautiful and your dress is just the sweetest thing to wear nowadays.
i have been quietly following your blog for awhile now and really enjoy all of your posts. you remind me a little bit of my favorite female musical artist, Jenny Lewis, in your appearance and sometimes dress! per usual, i love your accessories and fingernails!
That bag is wonderful. I have three carved leather bags of my own (such a glutton) but the shape of yours is great. So roomy... and yes, awesome nailpolish shade...
I love these pictures! The bag is a tad suitcase-like, so with you standing on the road like that, it looks like you're going on an adventure. It would be tough to travel with a bag that small, but I have a strange temptation to try it. I love the ring and the detail on the bag!
Perfect summer ring! I love that shade of nail polish. Can't believe you mixed it! Wow... I have a similar shade by Petites. My boyfriend calls it "Dear You blue" after a Jawbreaker album. He lost a bet and I got to paint his toes with it. Ha...
This ring is so great and unusual...I never seen something like that for the fingers before...so smart! I also love the shots! I love your work so much!
Love the ring!!!! And the bowler bag is adorable. Also, very daring of you to mix nail polish, didn't your mother ever tell you that could cause a chemical explosive reaction??
