I love Audrey Hepburn! That's very interesting that she had a pet deer. It's kind of like a remake of Mary Had a Lamb, instead it's Audrey had a Deer.
I knew she had a deer-- funny since she is so deer-like herself! But I never saw any pictures of the deer past fawn-stage. Think she had to get rid of it?

I didn't know that! These pictures are so beautiful and delicate - the deer matches her so well. My cousin had a pet deer for a while - a baby her brother found while he was out hunting. I don't know all the hunting rules, but it was actually illegal so they had to hide it. However, it was the sweetest creature I've ever seen (besides maybe the pet raccoon they had once).

I had know idea tha deers could be handled as pets..!!! I sure she loved how elegant this animal is, with its long legs and poshy haed structure....!!! Maybe I ll try adopting one in the future..!!!
