My favorite ballet flats are always worn until holes appear; this happened months ago to my black flats. However, wearing a certain item so many times for so long does lead to some attachment issues and replacing them is difficult to do. Luckily, I found the perfect rebound pair for me at Bona Drag. Studded actual ballet flats, like a more rock 'n roll version of my childhood dancing shoes still have the power to make me feel like dancing... Outfit details: jacket- H&M, dress- ASOS, shoes- Bona Drag, bag- Urban Outfitters Outfit details: shirt- Vain and Vapid, skirt- secondhand, shoes- Bona Drag, bag- ShopRuche
I love these flats!! The material definitely reminds me of normal dance material, but then the studs bring in a cool factor. And I agree with you, I kind of don't want to live in just one place!
I had the exact same problem with my black flats. They are so adorable, but they are very worn. I like your replacement flats; I have to find my own replacement.
I do the same thing with my flats, especially my black ones! I have to old, worn through pairs sitting in my wardrobe which I can't bear to part with, especially until I find a suitable replacement!
Beautiful photos as usual. You must live in a lovely place, with all the different scenery in your pictures.
Those are great shoes! I kind of have the same routine with brown flats - I keep a pair until I wear a hole in the bottom, and then replace them (grudgingly, and usually only when water starts coming in and I realize the shoes are *gross*).
I think I've said it a hundred times: I love that ASOS dress! And your hair is so pretty!
Your posts always make me feel happy, which I needed just now. I just finished reading a long Harry Potter fanfiction in which Harry dies at the end, and was crying a bit.
I'm not anymore though! Read this, and now I'm laughing at myself for getting so emotionally involved (again) in a story about fictional characters.
For some reason, your hair really stands out to me in the first set of pictures. The color looks so gorgeous in that light! I also love the blue bag against your colorful dress.
all your outfits has this vintage feeling, and they look lovely. i mean, they sort of stand out by prints and the colours, i think its the wearer that i have to give credit to.
I can totally relate! I have these sweet black ballerina flats also and wore them so many times! It's that they are so versatile and go with absolutely any occasion.
Foxglove is probably my favorite roadside wild flower. Foxglove and lupin. And man, every time you wear that yellow skirt I go green with envy. I so want to find a yellow skirt! Oh, and I totally understand the attatchment to shoes thing. My favorite red shoes just developed a hole. I usually don't notice that my shoes are falling apart until it is far too late...
I've never seen those flowers before; they are so pretty~~~~
I like your new spunky ballet flats! I also tend to wear my black flats to death and I know just how hard it is to find one that is just right and goes well with everything, so it's great that you've found it!
The shoes are gorgeous - I think Cheapskate Chic has a similar pair! It's funny that I have 40+ pairs of shoes but not a single one of them are black ballet flats!
