Careless In Our Summer Clothes

My favorite ballet flats are always worn until holes appear; this happened months ago to my black flats. However, wearing a certain item so many times for so long does lead to some attachment issues and replacing them is difficult to do. Luckily, I found the perfect rebound pair for me at Bona Drag. Studded actual ballet flats, like a more rock 'n roll version of my childhood dancing shoes still have the power to make me feel like dancing...

My eyes are on that great striped dress.

Eh. I did that to a pair of brown ballet flats. Luckily I was able to find the exact same pair later. :D

Ooh! I really like the first dress! I love the colors and shape, very flattering, especially with the lovely jacket! <3

I love these flats!! The material definitely reminds me of normal dance material, but then the studs bring in a cool factor. And I agree with you, I kind of don't want to live in just one place!

those shoes are so cute! i think they'd scare all the other ballerinas... and i love the yellow skirt too!

I had the exact same problem with my black flats. They are so adorable, but they are very worn. I like your replacement flats; I have to find my own replacement.

ever since I bought a pair of black ballet shoes for theater, I can't get enough of wearing them for real! that dress is one of my favorites of yours.

Really cool yellow skirt!

Mustard yellow looks so good on you! And the shoes are great, of course :) Maybe I need me some. I still hit the ballet studio after all!

That striped dress is super fab, as is the yellow skirt. The photos are really pretty too, by the way.

i love your outfits as usual! You look stunning and the photographs looks gorgeous! I could never pull off yellow skirt like you did!

I do the same thing with my flats, especially my black ones! I have to old, worn through pairs sitting in my wardrobe which I can't bear to part with, especially until I find a suitable replacement!

Beautiful photos as usual. You must live in a lovely place, with all the different scenery in your pictures.

I really love those shoes. They make me think of the movie Coraline for some reason...

Those are great shoes! I kind of have the same routine with brown flats - I keep a pair until I wear a hole in the bottom, and then replace them (grudgingly, and usually only when water starts coming in and I realize the shoes are *gross*).

I think I've said it a hundred times: I love that ASOS dress! And your hair is so pretty!

I adore your bag, that shade of gray is perfect and the zippers down the sides are gorgeous

Thanks for this. Lovely as usually.

Your posts always make me feel happy, which I needed just now. I just finished reading a long Harry Potter fanfiction in which Harry dies at the end, and was crying a bit.

I'm not anymore though! Read this, and now I'm laughing at myself for getting so emotionally involved (again) in a story about fictional characters.

Also, I really like the bright yellow skirt. :)

Foxglove is probably my favorite roadside wild flower. Foxglove and lupin. And man, every time you wear that yellow skirt I go green with envy. I so want to find a yellow skirt!
Oh, and I totally understand the attatchment to shoes thing. My favorite red shoes just developed a hole. I usually don't notice that my shoes are falling apart until it is far too late...

hope to hear from YOU :)
