Take Your Labbit To Work Day

I've always said Nasha is more popular than me...she can't help it, she has "charisma" and that star quality about her. Now she's getting mentions on other blogs and perhaps one day she'll even be set up on a blind date via the Internet...who knows?
For now, Nasha is still growing and learning. I took her along to work with me so she could learn a little about hard work and how much it really takes to afford the lifestyle she has become accustomed to...
She clocked in for me on our ancient time clock.
Counted the money twice to be certain everything was accurate.
It is rather strange how in certain states the cashier always bags your groceries for you, but in Pennsylvania they very rarely commit this service.
At college we sell eggs singularily--doesn't she look like an Easter bunny? But be careful, she's very sensitive about her multi-cultural background. Nasha is a Labbit--that is half rabbit and half lamb (though admittedly she does resemble her father the rabbit a bit more).
Stocking the frozen foods was her least favorite chore of the shift--she has sensitive paws to hot and cold.
There was always the sugar and caffeine heavy staples of college life to get her through the work though. I rather regret allowing her to drink soda so late in the day...it left her wired all night.
I hope she walked away from the shift with a good lesson in work ethics...I know she enjoyed the free candy.

I love these. The first picture is quite stunning--Nasha looks rather heroic at that angle looking into the distance. I also love the candy picture :)

Hi, I was wondering if there was any way you could design me a tattoo design? I've been wanting to get two tattoos on my shoulder blades, similiar to yours, but I'd like it to resemble a peacock more. If you are possibly interested, please get into contact with me! :D annappie@hotmail.com
Thank you, so much.

So cute, it makes me want to get my own Nasha. I think its the ears that make her look more rabbit.

yep, you are right. i don't think i am used to having a copy cat version of something that is upgraded. plus, to be honest, if marc jacobs had that hoodie it would normally retail for $300+, and that hoodie was free :D

Ha, that's probably the cutest thing I've ever seen! In Michigan you got the "bag boys" at the grocery store that bag all your stuff.

Oh yummy ice cream...I miss that here a lot :(

I love your Nasha posts! That last picture of her in the sour worms candy bin is my favorite.

P.S. Dogs used to be my favorite animal throughout my childhood and it was only when my older brother brought home a cat years ago that I started developing a fondness for cats (unfortunately, he didn't come home one day from one of his ventures outdoors). I've recently rekindled my love for dogs, however, when I started a dog walking gig after I lost my second job. I remember pictures of Gus from when you were at your parents' - he's extra extra cute!!

WendyB said...

She's a very pretty Labbit. My Labbit is constantly sticking his tongue out. Rude.

Maybe putting a Labbit in the sour gummy worm bin isn't the most of sanitary ideas. Imagine all of the other places she's been? Namely among eggs...salmonella with your sugar rush, anyone?

Hi, Nasha!

In response to yourcomment on my blog, in the UK most schools make their pupils wear uniform until they are of school optional leaving age - my school have let us out a term early so yesterday was my last day of school uniform...!

Awww how unbelievably cute!! I am so in love with that green clock, and the gummi worms look so yummy. Oh and with regards to the menswear, I totally understand what you meant. It should develop and be more creative like the womenswear side, but have it's own unique voice and path of development. I am still hoping for creative tailoring men's couture...maybe there is a petition I could start lol.

ahhh Nasha has return and it makes my day lol

@Anonymous, point well taken, but Nasha is a very fastidious Labbit. She always washes her paws before handling (or climbing among) food.
