All calm, as it was bright, And round beneath it, Time in hours, days, years
Driven by the spheres, Like a vast shadow moved, in which the world
And all her trains were hurled..." -Henry Vaughan
Time is slipping through my fingers more swiftly than sands through a pendulum. I can not wait for the arrival of spring and summer and yet, I dread their arrival. Summer signifies the end of my college years and the beginning of the great unknown into which I shall be hurled...

The photo of you with the red flower, blue tee and the aa skirt against the tree is probably one of my all-time faves. You look so casual and comfy and adorable. Plus that tree is amazing. I can't wait for bare-legged weather! I hear you on the graduation thing too. I graduated in 07 and job hunting sucks. I'm sure you'll find something though :) Especially in advertising/marketing, there are a lot of jobs, they are just hard to find! (I'm a graphic designer, I work in healthcare marketing).
Oh, I love the remix posts, they're so inspirational!
Graduating college is a scary thing, but you'll land on your feet!
I flopped around for a few months not having a plan, and then sort of stumbled into one. If you're an intelligent and creative person (which you are!) you should have no trouble impressing future employers.
And I love all of the remixes, that skirt is so versatile.
I adore that blue sweater in the first outfit and the blue sweater in the last outfit of your remix set! You look good in blue.
Graduating is very scary, especially for us students who are graduating into a global economic crisis! I agree with Corrie, though. You should have no problem impressing future employers with your creativity and moxie. Besides, it's natural and common for students to flop around a bit after graduation.
Great! I really like the striped dress a lot.
I can hardly wait for summer but I am very anxious, too. This is the last summer before I will leave Europe...I will study abroad for a semester next year and right after that I have to start my internship. Phew.
oh, what a beautiful quote! i definitely feel the rushing sands of time - my days of third year are counting down and, as i won't know whether i'm continuing studying or being hurled into the unknown next year until late June, i'm really feeling the clock ticking...
love that yellow skirt and the scarf as always... the purple of your sweater is so vibrant!

Remixing! i love these shots! these never get old!
Graduation is scary but exciting at the same time. You never know what's around the corner once you leave school! I'm sure you'll end up doing just fine--more than fine, in fact. :-)
I love the mix of blue white and black these days, great.
eeee, i love the green coat!
Your scarf looks so fantastic, and I love the striped skirt :) Oooh and that mustard skirt is wonderful, ah how I long for summer to come!
Do not fear - the great unknown can be a lot of fun too.
That said, I REALLY miss my college days. Never thought I would at the time but I did. Life really was a lot more simple then :)
PS adore that one of you in the flowers. Like an editorial! Plus you know I love yellow !!!!

Oh my goodness, I ADORE that green jacket! It's the perfect pop of color against the blue and white. Happy Friday :-)
PPS it took me years to finally get a great job after graduating. I don't mean that as to scare you but just so you know, EVERYONE in your boat is going to be doing the same. FLitting from here to there, doing this and that and MOST of the time, doing something comepletely unrelated to your degree. But you will get there - or you will find something else you will love even more!
Just remember, you may feel pressure to get a fab job right away but don't fret. It's not actually expected and rarely happens. Things happen naturally :)
amazing skirt and wow the vast unknown sounds scary, but liberating and fantastic, which is ironic b/c i'm only a college freshman
There is always a place for the Lolita's of the world. Dateline bait, probably?
i love the first outfit without the jacket :) and your yellow skirt is really cool!
I've been dreaming of the perfect skirt in that shade of yellow. It's such a nice colour.
'Time is slipping through my fingers more swiftly than sands through a pendulum. I can not wait for the arrival of spring and summer and yet, I dread their arrival.'
Why are you so good at writing exactly what I am thinking? xx
oooh! cute outits. i'm really liking the brick wall back drop.
i'm really partial to the thin black and white striped with bright colors, i think... the yellow skirt is also really cute!
the one behind the tree is rad.
I was thinking about purchasing that yellow skirt...all of your outfits featuring it are so inspiring!!
I know how you feel about summer. In May I'll graduate from community college, but in August I'll transfer to another college, so I'm not fully done.
so cool to see all your remixes! that skirt is absolutely adorable.
Love the way you play with the colors!
Amazing outfits:)
You're great at mixing colors - I never would've thought to throw in the navy with that green. :)
Your blue sweater is such a nice colour and that yellow skirt is absolutely luscious :)

Any ideas for what you'll do next?
I love that yellow skirt! I also can't wait until I can go tightless all the time.
Note to self: MUST GET YELLOW SKIRT!!!
I love remix photos and the first outfit is also wonderful, you take such lovely photos. I think I need to steal my boyfriend's/get my own tripod. xx
Love your jacket.greens my favourite colour!
I swear, you are the queen of remixing. I also recognize different pieces in your outfits, but your outfits as a whole always seem new.
And I really do love Jack London. Have you read The Sea Wolf?
loving the striped dress.
I adore your picture in the yellow flowers! So dreamy and romantic! Actually, I couldn't choose a favorite, they all look so beautiful! xxoxoxoxo
Wonderful pictures. All of them!
I hate thinking how time flies, I do it too much. It makes me feel I'm getting old so quickly.
Cute skirt! I can't wait till we go barelegged again. Unfortunately, its apparently supposed to SNOW again
Yay! I love that H&M striped dress, and your use of colour :) Gorgeous pics as always, your remixing sure does make a whole new outfit with just a few changes, love it!
xx
i totally feel the same way! i can't wait for nice warm days, or holidays and things...but it also means that we actually have to move forward :/
old! we're getting old! i can't even begin to comprehend how very nervous i am about graduating soon. argh.
anyway, lovely outfit as always! i've always adored your yellow skirt!
lovely outfits! I am really liking your green coat, and the yellow skirt is gorgeous!
Right there with you! Except I finish grad school next year, and that's when I have to Find A Grown-Up Job. Thinking about it freaks me out all over the place..
But anyway, your pictures are always so beautiful! They provide a wonderful distraction and never fail to make me happy. :)
are you going to continue blogging when you finish college? (i'm not sure if you already answered this in your interview post...)
very lovely, lovely
your blog = smile :)
-Brooke
you are so cute!! i love the pics of the yellow skirt!!!! what will you do when you graduate ?
I know what you mean. Finishing college is scary because you feel like you need to make the right choice. I also really love your item montages. They're super inspiring.
I love the print of the scarf with the stripes on the dress. Lovely pictures. I want your mustard skirt, too.
I have that AA skirt in charcoal! I like the mustard sooo much better though!

@Nadia, seriously? First off, a Lolita is a young girl wise beyond her years--not a girl who is resisting growing up--that would be a Peter Pan. Since I'm 22 I can hardly be considered a Lolita and have no desire to be seen as a Peter Pan either. Further, I find your suggestion of becoming "dateline bait" highly offensive. Thanks for suggesting I waste my college degree and degrade myself.
i love the green jacket and the background of the pics
cool pics - aspecially those in the supermarket
the second photo is amazing! i love love your ensembles!
You look lovely, lovely.
I love the remix pictures, especially the one in the field of flowers. And the one standing in the Target frozen food aisle.
Sad that I know it's the Target frozen food aisle, but *sigh* that is my life. Target, I love you so.
You tell her!
Nadia, I mean. Comments like that are completely unnecessary
I love when you do remixes. Always so interesting.
Thanks hun , I love your purple top with striped skirt , looks very cool!
i know what you mean sweetie.. but, we will be just fine :) you look great as allways :) but today i love your yellow outfits a bit more :)
So many fantastic, charming outfits, I can't even pick a favorite, but I love your skirts especially, and your last outfit in the last photo! Great post, as always, my dear! <3
xoxo,
S-C
I remember that last outfit well, it's my favourite.
It's definitely a daunting feeling knowing you're into the big wide world when uni is over...but also liberating and exciting too!
perfect color combination
i love this outfit, and that American Apparel skirt! Versatile pieces are so important and fun to experiment with =]
Okay you are adorable! I actually took one of your pictures to put in a long fashion/image/reel thing I"m making...I hope that's okay, let me know.
Wow so many pictures and outfits, I can hardly choose a favourite! But I think I love your striped dress the most, it's so versatile. Wish I had one...
Nesli
the blue sweater over the striped dress looks great :)
I just had to let you know how much I am loving all of your references to Madeleine L'Engle. She is definitely one of my faves.
I'm also loving your style, girrl! Your sense of color is very inspiring. Thank you for sharing yourself with the blogosphere!
that green coat is my favorite. Plus i love anything green. hihi
your pictures never fails to amaze me. especially with your cool laid back poses. it's so cute.
really love this yellow skirt !
you combine it so well.
Meanwhile, my bare-legged days are coming to an end soonish. You sound a little anxious. I was forced out into the great unknown about a year ago - it's not so bad! It helps to have a job and focus lined up. That alleviates a lot of the anxiety.
Definitely a versatile skirt! I think I have a similar one in blue so I will certainly be stealing some of these looks to freshen it up :~) Also, I am in the same boat as you are with the vast unknown. As much as I want spring and summer, I know that they will unavoidably be bringing all the deadlines and due dates of the semester, not to mention the "overwhelming question" to quote T.S. Eliot. (P.S. I love the little literary accents you include in your blog from time to time).
I love every time you wear that H&M striped dress. It's such a great layering piece. Don't fret about the future, all will work itself out!
