Snip-hits and Misses

Snippets from the first leg of my spring break.
I found my map print duffel bag at Salvation Army.
My current magazines are a nice dichotomy: Teen Vogue and Business Week.
The gate at the airport in Chicago--love the ceiling.
What I wore on Sunday: vintage dress via Salvation Army, tights- gift, shoes- H&M, sunglasses- Urban Outfitters
I nearly swooned when I saw this dress in the thrift store, the little row of buttons is gorgeous.
Went to Dave and Busters for the first time...wasn't really my scene, I'm terrible at these types of games. Board games are another story...
I'm borrowing my sister's Cows sweatshirt to service as pajamas.
Balloons for St. Patricks Day in downtown.
Trying on dresses I can't afford at Anrthopologie.
What I'm wearing to shop: vintage headband, ASOS dress, tights-gift
The ceiling at Union Station.

That map print duffel bag looks so amazing, and I love your stripey dress :) Oh, and the photographs of the Union Station and airport ceilings are beautiful!

Haha I fell in love with those same dresses at Anthropologie! Omg I bought a pink Cows sweatshirt a long time ago, only I can't remember where I put it. Now you've made me want to go find it!

That duffle is amazing!! I love it. I love anything map print.

I actually picked up a navy, sleeveless (wide, high neck) dress at Goodwill yesterday; it looks a lot like something you'd wear. It needs to be hemmed, though, as the bottom is filthy and ragged. Maybe I'll do that this weekend :)

You look adorable in the photo at Anthropologie. Your hair makes me miss my long hair and bangs so much :(

I'm still in love with your green coat!

I love airports(: And the rush I get whenever I'm there!(:

That ceiling at Union Station is so amazing! And so is your ASOS dress!

PS/ Googled Clara Bow (Yes, I know, I'm a bit shamefaced to admit I don't know who she is;) And she's such an extraordinary person!

Those striped dresses are lovely. I can't even try on clothes that I love but can't afford. It's easier for me if I put them aside and try to forget the super expensive pieces. *

OMGosh! Too many gorgeous pictures to comment on! My heart skipped a beat when I saw the white/red stripey dress at Anthropologie = LOVE! Gorgeous ceiling shots (I'm a huge fan of the ceilings at Washington DC's train station, have you seen it?), great duffel bag, and love the little buttons on your thrifted dress too. The balloons shot = gorgeous! Ok, better stop here, 'cause I could go on forever :)

Wow that ceiling is amazing. I love that classic style, it's too bad more modern airports aren't done in that style. It almost reminds me of a scarf pattern.

That duffle bag is a great find! It must be by Alviero Martini, a really chic and expensive brand here in Italy. http://www.alvieromartini.it
But yours is especially beautiful with a little patina...

smarties said...

The geo print ago is Alviero Martini first class label, pretty popular in Italy 10 years ago. I wish I had the enormous suitcase...
Lucky you!!!!
