A Change Is As Good As A Feast

I am now back in the rural Pennsylvania for classes, cashiering, and cafeteria food. These are some of my last pictures snapped while I was in Pennsylvania.
My sister in Georgia snapped this picture for me in the parking lot behind her apartment building--isn't it gorgeous there?
I picked up this dress from Urban Outfitters in the sale section while I was in Georgia.
A detail shot because I love the print.
My vintage headband.
The back stairwell up to my sister's apartment.
This finger points to more antiques in a little shop.
We had beautiful weather while I was visiting.
Old photograph in a used bookstore.
This Alexander McQueen dress at Target apparently inspired me to make strange faces in the mirror...
I love the print on this piece, but I didn't end up buying anything.
We ate gelato three days in a row...I will miss that.

I always ALWAYS love your photo essays. Your dress is adorable (me wants) and I really wish the back of my apartment parking lot looked like that instead of bins and hobos, lol.

Yum, gelato! That does indeed look like a beautiful place! Push on through to the end of school! It's all that's keeping me going...

Mmm, gelato is the best. I introduced my father to it over a year ago. He has only ever had it the one time (the only flavor being banana) and yet he talks about it all the time to this day, though he doesn't remember what it is called. It is quite funny. What flavors did you have?
Also, that headband is super pretty. Reminds me of some I had when I was little.

Mmm... gelato... that would make it a blissful three days!

I always love your photos. Your vintage headband is gorgeous and is that just an ice cream ornament or an ice cream door handle? Because a door handle would be Amazing. Your sister has the most beautiful parking lot I've ever seen. xx

Your photos always remind to admire the simple things. The print of your dress is lovely, I don't know what I love more that or the headband.
And I tried on that dress too. It was the only thing that fit me out of the whole section...however the hips were too-dramatic for me. : (
But the print, top-part, and exposed zipper were gorgeous.

Love the print on your dress!
What kind of gelato did you have? It's basically my favorite food in the world... hazelnut is my preferred flavor.

Also, I looked up the martlet and that's such an interesting and unique choice for a tattoo... how did you ever come across it?

I just love you. This outfit is just lovely and inspiring. Hmmm. Love the photos. Seems like you really had a great time there.

And did you say gelato?!?!?! Aaaaaah me wants to gobble a cone right now!

PS. That face you made while wearing the Alexander Mcqueen is pretty sexy. Not that I'm having lesbian fantasies of you hahaha. Kidding. Seriously, you look pretty in that picture. And I'm not a lesbian by the way. Haha.

I love that dress! I've seen at my work at few times but I'm waiting for my next paycheck to go shopping. Working in UO and not shopping is very, very difficult.

I've left you a little tag in my blog. I can't wait to see what you do with it :]

Wow, so many comments already :) I love that McQ dress! The skirt shape is incredible. I should go see if they have any left here.

The photo of you in your sister's backyard makes me so homesick! I miss kudzu (the ivy-looking vine-it destroys everything, very parasitic, but beautiful).

But that McQ dress is amazing on you!! The hip detail. Wow. You look perfectly tiny and perfectly formed. The vintage headband is love at first sight. I think my mum was wearing one of those when she was my age!

I love your new UO dress! The print and the cut are perfect. I also really like that stairwell and would take pictures there every day if I have one like that. And, lastly, that vintage photo is of Marlene Dietrich in "The Blue Angel"! It's a German film from the 20s, and we just watched it in class today. Quelle coincidence, non? Yeah, I realize that's French.. haha :)
