You Asked For It

A post of my doodles. I'm not majoring in art, these are just what I like to do in a small journal to pass the time. I find it rather soothing to draw when I'm bored or stressed.
P.S. I'm considering opening a small Etsy shop...thoughts? Would anyone buy a print?

ooh i love your doodles!
i hope you don't mind, but i kinda copied one for my art class sketch (it was one of those weekly sketchbook assignments, so nothing big) and my teacher asked me about graphic design and putting it on t-shirts and such. I told her I just got it off line though.
But i thought i'd pass along the thought to you because these designs could very easily be on shirts, sweaters, dresses, etc. (or even folders and notebooks! =))

It's dedicated to promoting artists and helping them to get a little $$$

oh and I know about this site because my BF is the CEO, lolz.

I hope you check it out, if you have questions, email me, or exspiro@gmail.com (that's his email)

I always encourage anyone to try to make an income, however small, from a creative pursuit. Go for it, Etsy is super affordable for sellers. One piece of advice, it works best if you update the shop frequently or in small batches, the more current you are the easier it is for people to find your stuff...

Rike said...

I simply adore your doodles and would do nearly everything, if I could draw like you.
Why aren't you majoring in art?

Jen said...

These are fantastic! You really should open a shop. Wow.

Hannele said...

Very beautiful! You could certainly make it as an illustrator. I also see some of these as great fabric designs. Go for it!

enc said...

YES! Do the Etsy shop.

Stationery.

Greeting cards.

Fabric design.

T-shirts done with sharpies. (I'll buy one.)

I love this, especially the 2nd one. I would probably buy it, if the prices were reasonable!

Oh, these are divine!

I've never bought anything from Etsy but these are fab.

Stylish Thought said...

You are very talented! My favorite one is the Rodarte shoes, so cute! You should definitely sell them as prints. I would love to hang one up in my closet.

Diana said...

I can't believe I didn't think of this earlier- these would make beautiful tattoos!

p.h. said...

Your designs would look good on wallpaper too! I'm not sure how you would go about that though. Definitely include the word doodles in the name of your shop if you do decide to start one, which I think you really should. BTW, did you design your website background? Looks like it.

Fia said...

Those are really nice illustrations. I think you would do well on Etsy.

Lydia said...

The "doodles" are super cool! I'm jealous....my skills are majorly lacking in the drawing department. I think your shop would be quite successful.
