Please Design Forever
Christian Lacroix is hands-down my favorite designer. One of his collections with its vibrant hues was what hooked me on Haute couture and runway in the very beginning. I recently discovered that he opened his couture house the same year I was born...clearly this was fate. I like his consist use of bright color, multi-faceted and ornate clothes and how he mixes inspiration from all over the world. His latested collection, pictures via Style.

That polka dot dress turns me on a little, I'm not gonna lie.
He's one of my favourite Haute Couture designers too (even if I think he sells too many plates and sheets..)
He used to be my first favorite when I was a child, maybe because his drawings are so amazing... being a drawer too, if you haven't seen them yet, you should certainly appreciate!

Lacroix always reminds me of Ab Fab (british tv show) though because Eddie one of the main charters goes through a Lacroix obsession in the first season and wears some crazy numbers.

What beautiful colors! I will never get over the bubble skirt. Never. It will never be out of style to me.
i love that he puts carnations on the seats of his shows so that people throw them at him. and i love the absolutely fabulous connection even more!
wouldn't i love to see you get your hands on some lacroix and mix it up. i'm sure you'd look great. lacroix isn't my style and i love looking at his work, especially the couture.

I love the flow of his work. Each dress has a life of its own and looks like it could just move right off the model! That would be scandalous, though.
Lacroix is the Master! Loved this collection - in fact, I included that first frock in my post today!
