Feeling Literary

Is there anything lovelier than a full shelf of books? Afterall, you are what you read.

These actually make me giddy beyond words. I am obsessive over my books, I can never throw one away, or go past a charity store without buying old books and giving them a new lease of life! And those hardbacks look lovely, I have a second print edition of Alice In Wonderland, and the cover is hand painted - soooo pretty :) Wonderful post :)

Glee! What a lovely post.

The only downside to such collections is moving them from state to state. It's worth it in the end, though!

i love bookshelfs! anal organized freak that i am, i have mine separated into genres: classics, historical fiction, teen lit, chick lit, and books to read (which is incredibly full!)

Love those pictures! Who doesn't love a little lit?

Those are incredibly colorful book collections=) I've only been in a dorm for 2 quarters and my bookshelf is already full too!

ha-ha, this post is quite appropriate because I just took a break from unpacking my 3 boxes of books to check my email & a few blogs! Now I'm inspired to get back to it! Almost done.

Those are all much cuter bookshelves than mine! That's what I'm concerned about when I move out. Where will all of my books fit!

I need a bookshelf so badly, all mine are just sitting on the floor in piles. Yuck!

I love photos of bookshelves. I really have an obsession with old books.

I love seeing how others display their books. My displays are relatively uninspired.

I love the sight of tiny shelves that are cramped with books. Somehow the messier ones are often more amusing, I don't know why.

I LOVE books, and having a sneaky look at people's bookshelves is one of the first things I do when I visit someone's house for the first time! I just can't help it!

My bookshelves are so full of beautiful art and fashion books (I spend way too much money on that!) that it makes it impossible to move out, haha!

Love your selection of pictures, they are truly lovely, and I like the warm colours and intimate feel about them..

Love from London!

I love getting ideas on how to display my books. I actually just wrote a post on how to organize my massive magazine collection. These are great ideas!

I know you get tagged all of the time but I think if I had to nominate/tag anyone for having a fabulous blog it would be you. Your blog was one of my first I got into. I enjoy all of your lovely posts! Thanks

I love reading too! I am very possesive over my books & I hate those who borrow my books & treat it harshly! Urgh

I'd be hard pressed to find something lovelier! :)

I love love love books! But for some reason don't like seeing bookshelves with differing height books (and I'm not a neat freak I don't think)!

Strange really, as not all books can look like an encyclopedia (which I do like seeing on bookshelves), but book themselves, I love!

Ok, I probably sound like a complete nutcase, so will sign off :)

Im a book lover too but i wish i own that much books! I always have to go down to the library to borrow books and end up not returning them and getting fined. Geeez.

Nothing says "home" like a shelf full of books. I can't seem to get rid of any of mine. I liked your last post as well. I was missing my "Y" key until my thoughtful boyfriend got me one for Christmas!

Nice to hear that. I don't like Wang either! In the Spanish text I explain it all better: like all broggers are crazy for him, also the Olsens, Wintour... But it's not such a good disigner; rahter just a hype.
