Eek! Gus is so cute!

your pics have got something cruel..
vivid colors but dark feelings.

have you read "Waste land" by T.S. Elliot? There is a famous phrase:

"APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land"

this is what your pics reminded me.

and despite audrey hepburn being my personal hero i have never made it through war and peace - would you recommend it? i love how audrey chose to take so many different roles through her career.

...interesting comment by lucia--was wondering if the pics from Pennsylvania/Greece/elsewhere seemed the same way. The light is different in the Pacific Northwest, although, obviously many of these pictures are taken indoors. I love to read philosophical comments--haven't found that many blogs that inspire them.

hmmmmm that desert looks YUMMMYYYY!!

I love this post and the other one you did for the new year =) It's always so interesting to see how another person leads his/her life in a different place across the world. Ahh that dessert is making me drool! Are the items in the vintage stores you normally frequent expensive or more along thrift store prices? I've always been curious... The vintage stuff over where I live is always grossly overpriced. As if once they label it vintage it justifies a triple increase in price or something.

chloe said...

I've been meaning to watch 'War & Peace'. Is that Audrey Hepburn, or just another fabulously beautiful woman? By the way, you have a really quite cute dog. =]
