My dressing style has been simple lately, I am deep in the midst of packing and purging my wardrobe. I dearly hate to part with items, especially clothes, but there comes a time when one must attempt to travel light.
Outfit details: cardigan- H&M, dress- H&M, shoes- Urban Outfitters
For my remix posts the goal is usually to show how I have styled one item in different ways, however sometimes the things you repeat the most are accessories. One of my favorite items on constant repeat is this Ruche bag (which apparently also comes in black...hm...). I can't even tell you the number of times I have had to defend this bag from thievery too--not the mean street sort of criminal, but more the family/friend desiring to "borrow" type of crime.

I ADORE that bag - love the slouchyness and LOVE that taupe colour. Grey/brown, it's so versatile, muted and...soothing!
I've noticed you where a lot of skirts and dresses like myself. I haven't worn pants since January 11th! Maybe I should post about it lol. I feel free and feminine in dresses and skirts. Pants are too constricting.
I often find it hard to travel lightly. I always want to sneak a few extra things into my bag :)
The last time I purged my wardrobe I got rid of a few vintage shirts I now wish I had kept! Ugh.

How did I not know about Ruche before? It's pricing is brilliant and definitely in the type of style I need to incorporate into my wardrobe!

I do find a little sense of satisfaction when purging the wardrobe, but there are many items I simply cannot part with, so it keeps distilling down (well, not so down...as I keep adding to it).

What an amazing bag!!!!!! The colour is one of my favourites, however I have never been able own one because they are rare find.
So hang on to it and forget the black one as that colour is soooo much more stylish!
