As I mentioned briefly in my first blogger interview post, I want to make some small changes around the blog; mostly in the form of new post categories. Another new category for the blog in the new year is called "remix." These are posts where I will highlight one main item that I have repeated numerous times but in different ways.
Here you can see 7 different ways I've worn this floral dress.
Without further ado: one of my favorite pieces to remix is this buffalo plaid shirt dress. This particular dress was bought in Japan nearly two years ago now...hm, it's wild to think it's been that long since I was in Japan...and I apologize, but I don't remember the name of the shop where it is from.

Outfit details: scarf(borrowed), vest- Forever 21, dress- H&M, tights- Target, boots- secondhand

those are great boots!
Those boots!
I like to wear dresses as tops. I notice you wore it with shorts! How did you get it so short that it didn't peek through and bunch?!
really nice post! good to see the various styles one shirt/dress can make.
oh and I love your second outfit dress! I kind of have a thing for floral dresses :)
xx
I will never get tired of seeing how you wear both of these dresses. The way you tied your scarf in the new pictures is fantastic!
Great post. I love how you have worn the dress under skirts to make it into a shirt, such a great idea.
Thats a nice dress and I like all the ways you wore it. I really like the scarf.. hmm..
thank you honey :)
love that floral dress
xx
I think the essence of style is being able to take one item and make it unique and fresh with every wear. I think it is safe to say you have that part mastered!
Such a fun post! I love that blue dress! ;o)
I need to take a cue from you, I really need to better remix my stuff. And congrats on the Weardrobe win in that plaid dress :)
Ooh, that buffalo plaid shirtdress is lovely indeed! I have one very similar: it has long sleeves, and I think it's too short to wear as a dress (though Lulu/Rumi might disagree), but other than that its the exact same. Which means its not actually that similar, haha.
Totally dig your wardrobe remix ;) and love the way you wear your AA circle scarf, v. elegant ;)
I love how you're so inventive with how you wear your clothes--the same piece looks different every time!
You're one of the best remixers I've seen. I can't wait to see more of these posts!
Love the floral dress and that scarf is so lovely. So versatile! Love the plaid dress.
The remix idea is great ! I love the blue dress :) The necklace looks so nice..
Very stylish the way you arrange the scarf !
I love it when you show one piece lots of different ways. And especially when it's one that I like as much as this shirt dress.
Also, the blue outfit is adorable. I love that dress.
i love the buffalo plaid pattern!
and these types of remix posts are my favorite!

Check with the waiscoat, looks soooo cute. Love the remix idea.
wow that dress is amazing, you've really turned it into the epitome of a chameleon dress and i love your boots
i really love the way you are wearing your scarf! its nice than the usual way everyone wears it!

excellent beige boots!
is the shawl thingy from AA?
i think i have it in black, isn't it the most versatile vetement in your wardrobe?
the shirt looks go different in each picture!
mxx
Both dresses are beautiful and I love all the ways you've worn them :)
heyy its been awhile!
im happy to see youre still soo stylish. i love the pictures on this post and those boots are fantastic
This is one of the things I love about your blog and your style! The way you wear the same things but in different ways - it's a far more realistic view of a person's wardrobe. Some fashion bloggers are always showing off new purchases, etc, and sometimes you feel under pressure to buy something new just so people don't think you wear the same thing all the time.
BUT you remind me to just find new ways to wear old pieces, it's very inspiring!
Such a great idea! Remixing really shows your creativity. Most people wear the same pieces the same way every time they wear them. Here here for remixing!
Love the dress, outfits, photos & especially the idea! I get extra satisfaction from knowing a piece is well-used & versatile. Great inspiration!
xx
Ooh i like this blog category. This checkered dress is one of my favorite garments of yours. I find myself subconsciously always looking for a dress like this. still haven't found one yet.
Remix. What an amazing idea to catalogue these looks - inspiring and it makes you appreciate just how much wear you can get out of one piece, and how many times you can make it look new again!
remix sounds like a great idea. and this post reminded me of getting my categories fixed. i kind of categorize almost randomly, which is kind of confusing. at least for me when deciding on which category i'm supposed to take for my posts =)
by the way, i finally linked to your blog (i like it so much and have been wanting to do this for ages..) and just thought i'd ask if you would link to mine as well? that would be really nice and totally make my day!
Great idea for post topic! in the real world we wear clothes more than once, a fact so many style bloggers choose to ignore! Bravo!
ohhh how i love your dresses...
LOVE the remix idea.
so smart + eco-chic ;)
i wear my stuff over and over and over again.
i love worn in + my favorite things SO much.
happy monday beauty.
x
those boots are fantastic!
shirt-dresses are one item you can do almost anything with. i have a great one from theory that i wear with boots, with a belt, even to the beach.
xx
What a great idea! I had the idea to do something similar at one point- to just post outfits using one similar item for an entire week.
Now that I'm only shopping my closet for 3-months, I might have to do it!
Love this Remix idea lady. Much like Weardrobe. Love the vest in your current outfit, and because of you I bought the american apparel circle scarf (in navy) with my aa girftcard from werdrobe. I cant wait to wear it!

both of those dresses are so great and unusual. i particularly like the first one with red accesories. (the cardigan...the hat...)
You've piqued my interest in navy blue....didn't know it could look so fresh and moody at the same time.
You're brilliant! I'm doing a shoptox at the moment so instead of buying new stuff I'm trying to find ways to mix up my current wardrobe. Great inspiration! xx
i love pic with pops of red!!!!
Love the remix section! And both your dresses are so awesome! The previous post is so much fun!
I really enjoy this feature. It's always fun to find new ways to wear older things, and you've done a great job with creating new looks.
I can't stop staring at those boots, they look so comfy!!
May I just say that I love all of your pictures? Great photography, great clothes and great content! I love it!
sound like great plans for your blog! the buffalo plaid dress is goorgeous by the way!!

Great idea! I love how many ways you've found to style the plaid dress!
Lush boots x
I just love plaid.
Wow! You're an inventive girl when it comes to wear clothes in different ways!
Wow I love the photos!
Great post!
Oh you're so right! The bruises might be worth it. :D
Cute dresses - as usual :)
The boots look really nice... and I love the new category.
I admire how you organize your posts nicely with fixed categories. That's just neat.
Great boots, and even greater idea! I love when people as stylish as yourself show the world that fashion isn't all about buying new things, but also about experimenting what you have :].
Thanks for your comment...Yeah, feel very narcisstic if we take pictures with people around...We have the same feeling ;)
I love this post, the remix???? Wow, you're so creative...
Love your boots and the way you wear the scarf....So inspiring ^,^
I love the blue dress with the grey boots. You always look so lovely!
Your outfit today is immaculate.
You are the queen of remixing!
What a great idea!
It's fun and inspiring to see the many ways one piece of clothing can be worn.
So adorable my dear!
One dress - seven ways, even more fashion for your money

Fantastic idea! It will be very inspiring to see how one thing can be worn many ways.
you look very good as always in all your outfits :) good idea to make some changes just because often changes make things even better than what they are even if they're great as your blog they can be grater :) [hope you've understood what I wanted to say]
have a nice day!Tuzi.
really love the boots on the last photos - your floral dress is so amazing !
it really is a remix! and i really like the blue floral dress and slouchy shoes xx
i like how you wrapped your scarf around your shoulders. can you show us how?
I feel inspired to try the same with my favourite pieces of clothing. But I doubt I can do it with the same flair!
I love this idea of a "remix" category! It's always inspiring and oh-so-useful to see how someone has worn the same item multiple ways. The perfect way to get out of a wardrobe rut! - e.
