I graduate this spring and the opportunity of affordable travel through college study abroad will be gone. I have milked it for all it was worth studying first in Japan and now in Greece, with a trip to Budapest and another venture to another country beginning this very instant...and yet, it is not enough. My wanderlust is not satisfied.
My eye however is quite satisfied by this set of images. Sometimes I'm very disatisfied with my captures, but the rich, saturated hues here really please me. This may just be my favorite wall in all of Greece.
Outfit details: jacket- Urban Outfitters, sweater- H&M, dress- H&M, tights- some shop in Greece, shoes- some shop in Greece, bag- Ruche

It IS an incredible wall! And I love your outfits before it, the colours are so rich!
As you count down, so do I, I leave for Buenos Aires & Brasil (my original home) in 35 hours, and am bursting with excitement!).
I definitely think you will be returning to Europe, it is just an incredible continent bursting with things/people/places/buildings/walls to see, and can imagine big things ahead of you ;)
xx
well, there are so many opportunities now, to work abroad for a year or two, i guess if you want it you will have all the possibilities in the world to return to europe.
I love the spots you take your pictures, especially walls like this with graphic designs and bright colours! I really want to go abroad for a longer period someday... I'm sure being in so many different places must have shaped you quite a bit. I miss the feeling of calling another place home for a certain time. I get comfortable pretty fast and feel home vey quickly.. :)
Nesli
love your outfit, i just have the same feeling, i'm couting down my days in britain and don't really want to come back to paris!
girl, i am not sure what to say but saying goodbye is never an easy thing. am sure you fell in love with Greece big time. But life is beautiful am sure your road is so much wider now and there is so much wonderful things to come.
you are a very cool and blessed girl so opportunities like that won't be short.
i love the graffiti. and of course i love your outfit.
cheer up. have a great day!
again nice writing.
That wall looks awesome... and so do you!
You're so lucky to have travelled to all those places, and I understand what you mean about having that thirst for more. Just remember to enjoy the time you have now! Hopefully there will be more travel opportunities for you in the future (and I'm pretty sure there will be!).
<3 the first picture.
so serene.
enjoy every moment.
the travel bug never goes away.
loves.
x.
you are lucky to travel great places! i love your jacket.. i always hope we can wear boots ih a hot country =-/.
greece is beautiful, i've been there once, but only for three days, and i loved it.
you as cute as always :)
x
Lovley as usual! You just have to find a job that allows you to travel a lot! :)
It´s amazing how you know what backgrounds fit you the best!
If you want to travel after graduation, work or go to grad school abroad. There are many au pair programs in other countries as well as English-teaching programs. In most of the English-teaching programs, you don't have to speak the language of the country in which you're teaching. JET in Japan is a great program. The French Government also has a variety of programs. Also, if you're looking for grad programs, London School of Economics has a TON of interesting programs, all (obviously) conducted in English. And, on the plus side, they are all one-year masters and don't require the GRE!
Time flies! I feel like you just got there.
travelling is addictive. I'm sure you will get out again soon enough.
When are you flying out, R?
You look lovely!
And if you still want to travel, maybe you can get a job in another country?
Or a friend of mine had this great job, he's always in a different part of the world :)
Enjoy greece while you're there!
You're so lucky that you got to study there. I feel you on the wanderlust...I'm moving to Italy next year without a job...eek!
At least you know there are fashionable girls all over the world who would love for you to come visit and would show you around their city! :D
ohhh i hope you have had a fantastic time! you've really inspired me to travel more
cool photos! I love the clothes and grafitti background ;)
lovely outfit and fantastic photos as always
You can always make travel a priority. I really wish I could have travelled more but instead of vacations I showed horses competitively in the summers and I wouldn't give that up for anything.
And I love that jacket.
<3
I envy you, haha! Your pictures are so cool, and your outfits too, of course!
xoxo
I really envy you for all the traveling! I hope I can travel too after finishing university.
i love your pictures in this set
your outfit is lovely and your so lucky to travel so much!
Lovely dress!
Wow, it feels like you've only been in Greece for five minutes!
I would love to visit America, having never been there and I am sure that even if you do not come to Europe for a while, there are still plenty of treasures to be discvered on your own continent.
But I do sympathise, because right now I would love nothing more than to simply travel for a few months, rather than work work work. xx
I can relate - I used to travel the world (see my other blog, the travel one) by myself, it was the greatest pleasure in my life.
Now I have had to be responsible. Stay put. I bought an apartment, I have a good job. And I have a boyfriend which as it turns out is the number one reason why I am not jetting off to some country for months on end.
It's sad but I guess I had to grow up (I'm 27 next week, AHHHH!). Yet there are still going to be times I can escape - Disneyland in January, Paris in May and perhaps New Zealand (I used to live there) in the fall.
And as my life gets more secure and settled, I totally see myself throwing it all to the wind on my 30th birthday, and seeing the world, with my bf/husband (ha hopefully) in tow!!
(also love the jacket!)
great background!
i love your last outfit ! :)
xoxo,
MJ
that is the coolest backdrop in history! great photos.
Back to the all black outfits, I see. This looks really great against the bright wall! I cannot get over how great those boots are.
I wondered the same thing after a semester abroad in college, but I've found many many more opportunities to travel since. If you make it a priority, it will happen, regardless of your income after college.
I feel bad for you leaving too! It seems like time past overnight. Having a full wardrobe again is a nice thought though!
Oh, and I thought I should give you the heads up, streetgeist published your picture!
If you're meant to go back, then destiny will bring you back. And who knows what new adventure life will throw at you?
Your trip has been so fun to watch unfold on your blog. I'm impressed with your ability to balance getting the most out of your study abroad experience with blogging. I can't wait to eventually study abroad myself.
That wall is awesome.
it's always sad leaving, isn't it? i'm sure something great will come of it! you look adorable xxoo
Your traveling days are not over, Rebecca. You'll be zipping all over the place for a long time to come, I think.
I can't believe how the time has flown! You'll be off to new adventures that much sooner.
Oh how sad. Travel is in your blood, I am sure you will be able to fill your life with it.
You'll find ways to travel. Even if it's not school. Job, desire, whatever.
I love these photos. You're right, the colors are wonderful!
I think if you say it, the universe will reciprocate and give you greece again. as far as the pictures?!
REBECCA LOOK AT THE SECOND ONE! Hand covering face? Glad the Stylish Wanderer rubbed off on you. :P
I kid, I Kid.
i bet you will have a job that requires traveling. and a fabulous wardrobe!
that wall, i wish it was a "travelling" wall, so i could have it in my town as well. I can see plenty of photo sessions that involves a wall like that. The colors are amazing.
you are just too cute, i love these pictures of you.
x
wow these pictures are great and you look adorable<3
your dress fits so well with the boots! Hot!
I hope you enjoy Germany!
I have thought, for a long time, that a white wall is the only way to capture the clothes, and put the focus on them and their details; but you and the wall really manage to pull out the best in both! It is so fascinating, and the colours of the wall only makes the colours on your clothes stronger.
I'm so sorry to hear you're leaving Greece soon but who knows what the future will bring? Maybe one day you'll be back to Greece for an even longer time or maybe you'll get to see another, better place!
I love these photos so much!

I can't believe it's almost over, although you've packed a hefty swag of experiences into the short amount of time you had.
Great outfit! Your photos are always so editorial, it's so cool! If you want it, it will happen so don't worry about never travelling again. I totally understand what you mean about the wanderlust, you never do get it out of your system entirely.
