I love red too, especially in Winter, which is probably why red beanies/hats are so great, as they inject happiness (I find red, like canary yellow, to be a happy colour), warmth and colour to an otherwise dreary, (most of the time) black outfit...
I do love red caps! I think part of the attraction goes back to Little Red Riding Hood. There's just something suggestive about a young girl wearing a bright red hood. Red is not an innocent color.

David the Gnome! (I always loved how they would eskimo kiss) Your red hat is awesome. Red is such a bold color and I love how one little accent of it can make any outfit pop. I'm a big fan of spicing up my outfits with red shoes, too.
ohh i love Elizabethtown and The Life Aquatic. such good movies! i have a little red beret too, it always makes me feel nice when i wear it. maybe it's just the positive effect of the colour red!

There is something innately warm about red... perhaps a visual reminder of a winter fire! Red hood, red cap, red hat... they all look cute, especially on you :P
Its known that the color red invokes passion and action, so there you go. Most people are drawn to red because it is such a vibrant color -- me included.

AHH I waited so long to see Elizabethtown and was sooo disappointed! I love Kiki though..she was in the October issue of Harper's Bazaar. Love it!
