Outfit details: dress- some shop in Japan, bag- Stadium Swapmeet in Hawaii, shoes- Urban Outfitters, belt- secondhand

We are also settling into the shared experience that is apartment living. Delegating chores and completeing daily tasks is always an issue. Being the broke college students we are, we are also attempting to wash laundry by hand in our tub and sink. It's fairly effective and air dry clothing is always nice.

they are very cohesive and have a nice hue to them

the bag is so cute! cartoon octopus are irresistable. i agree with catherine - there's always this candid and warm hue to all your photos.
hand washing clothes also makes them last longer! you look great by the way (:

Beautiful pics !
I am in total awe of your photography /composition skills, you even make a run-down graffiti'd street amazing!
What are you doing in Athens for the next few months? :)
I love those pics! Grafiti walls can be an amazing backgroud for photos!

i agree! air drying is the best for clothes. plus, your hanging area looks really cool.

i quit using dryers completely last year because it was an extra 75 cents. air dried clothes are definitely the way to go.
I agree with Miss Michelle Woo--the Laundry photos are just simply wonderful.
I'm glad to hear you're settling into the city now. Traveling about is so eye-opening, but getting to know your city, and learning the charms about the place where you live can be just as eye-opening.
If you can, find a good Fabric Softener, and that will help keep your hand washed clothing from getting stiff and chafey after you air dry them.
ah beauty.
thanks so much for being SO wonderful.
you shine like a star.
i'm forever inspired by your shots and passions.
soak it all up! travelling is such a blessing.
enjoy the weekend

You're adapting well, as I knew you would. You fit right in.
i want to be there with you. yes, after traveling for a while, i always feel the need to take it easy.
The weather looks so wonderful!
Love the pictures... and I'm jealous because of the wonderful weather there!
Wonderful photographs :) Love the bag and that checkered dress is wonderful :)
You hung your flats? :)
hehe cute photos, for some reason I still think of collumns when I think of greece lol so the grafitti is interesting
What a delightful place. Looks refreshing. I wish I could skateboard all the time. It's so much harder than it looks, I can barely stand on one.
Thank you for the comment and the answer; I understand now, and it is also a tip for future problems.
The bag is really cute (and the dress from Japan, too!), but I think I would've had problems making it versatile enough for daily use, or am I incorrect? Is it easy to integrate into your outfits (sorry for the lack of words, I am constantly improving my english :))? I am not sure if I know what you plan to study in Athens, would you tell? And how long will you stay there?

Even when describing something as mundane as laundry, you are always so eloquent and your outfits are always beautiful! I hope that you're enjoying your self and those chocolates! :-)
I love the first pictures--all that graffiti makes for a great background. Nice outfits.
i see, there is always a lot to do...but it seems that is easy for you :)
a kiss!

i would love to go to greece some day.. im reading a book with some greece in it- "middlesex" by jeffrey eugenides -sounds very interesting
Great pictures! I love that you've discovered some shops - I look forward to seeing some of your eventual grecian finds.

awesome pictures, and look! ATHENIAN GRAFITTI!!!!!!!!!!!!
*gets knocked over by how awesome foreign graffitti is*
Good to hear that you're settling into the new life well.
Sharing chores could be quite difficult, right? It's not too bad doing hand washing. We used to do that when there was no washing machine.. I'm talking good 25 years ago. :)
Hopefully you will find a way to get the washing done in a more economical way soon. I'm sure there will be things you just can't hand wash. Maybe girls can chip in and do a big load at once or something?
I love the pigeon! I also love seeing your posts chronicling the beginning of a trip, adjusting and all that. It's such a great thing to get to see :D
