We struck out in independence the next morning--renting our own transportation in the form of four-wheelers. Our group numbered eight and comfortably situated on four atvs we were a caravan criss-crossing the island with speed and a sense of adventure. Much of our time was spent beach hopping from black sand expanses to red sand majesty.

Now I am back in my apartment in Athens with rosy skin and so many pictures to fill my days with delight for some time to come. It was a weekend decidedly more about what I was doing rather than what I was wearing--which is fine by me.

i LOVE santorini...if you ever go back there's a restaurant owned by the sweetest man from switz "mama loves you babies" in thira...with the best breakfast. isn't oia's sunset majestic? especially with all the tourists sitting around...waiting for it (but maybe not so much in oct..i was there in july when it was full-swing "holiday" season.
Sounds divine. Isn't that why you are in Greece apart from studying etc. :)
Didn't realise you had two tatts.
Oh wow, it looks absolutely amazing! I always really despised my parents for always choosing travel destinations with sightseeing and activity in mind, not weather and relaxing. I just wanted to be like everyone else, going to the beach on holidays and getting a killer tan. I guess I am alright with it now, but I would still love to go to a place like that. With sunny beaches and a relaxed feeling. Loud cities get boring at some point.
Ach, and you continue to be totemo kawaii! I've found I cannot really be bothered dressing up lately. What a shame.
I love reading your Greece posts and looking at all of your pictures! That's the great thing about blogging, you learn so much all from your computer! But that definitely can't beat being there in person!
i've never been to greece.. but right now when it's so awfully cold in germany i wish i could take a plane somewhere a little warmer, and greece sounds fascinating with all its islands...
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! Your gorgeous photos never cease to amaze me, the shoe shot on the stairs, the tatts from above, the donkey! And *sigh* Santorini! I think I'm the only one in my family not to have been, but I hear it's absolutely amazing (and from photos it does look it!).
Funny how small the world is: my friend (who lived in Sydney) took 6 months to travel the world, my dad (who lives in Brazil), was at a work conference...in the 'little' island of Santorini, my friend (walking down the street) spotted my dad in a bus, as it turned around the street's corner! It was a matter of less than a minute, but what are the chances of that happening?
Ok, bored you all enough, sorry! :)
I am thoroughly enjoying your Grecian adventures as well. I've always wanted to ride an ATV.
ahh your pictures are so great! i'd love to see your tattoo!!
You look like you are always on holiday! Where is the Uni :P
Hope my Uni exchange will be filled with as many trips and sightseeing as yours. Although my friends overseas at the moment tell me that is the whole point. Haha.
Im really looking forward to mine then!

WOW! First Greek blogger I find. Nice. I went last year to Amorgos and it was just one of the most beautiful places I've been to, even though I'm more Northern souled. I love your people. Nice blog. Calimera!
(I'm a Spaniard)
Gorgeous photos, sooo jealous.
Love your tats as well
I love your photos! They're amazing! Wish I could make photos like that...

You seem to have the most adorable weather ever - I totally envy you.
oooh santorini!! so jealous!! and fantastic photos as always!
I went to Santorini some years ago and it was magnificent. It must be even better this time of year, that there are actually more locals than tourists walking around. And you are still swimming in the sea? We Greeks get bored of the sea by early September. Silly, now that I think about it!
we can live vicariously through you. love your photos...
I've always wanted to go there.
Whatcha reading?
I love the tattooes with the bikini :)
my friends and i are all going there when we grauate college! how do you get your pictures to have that vintage feel to them?

i'm so happy you are having such a memorable experience.
this day looks like true bliss.
i honestly think travel is one of the greatest blessings... to experience something outside of ourselves is something extremely special.
have a lovely day.
x.
I am so amazed by your fotos! You make me feel so ashamed that although I am greek I've never been to most of the places that you 've been to!
Nice tattoos by the way!
Wish I was there! I'm glad you had such a good time :-)
I've always wanted to visit Santorini.
Ahhh, the pictures are like balm for the soul. I love the two of you on the steps, and you in the doorway.
it looks like you had a FANTASTIC time... all of your photos are incredibly gorgeous
Greece looks beautiful, i would love to go one day.
These photos are beautiful - a friend of mine just came back from Greece where she's from and said Santorini was her favourite place. The scenery looks so idyllic!
These pictures are wonderful. I love the one with the old man and the donkey. Keep posting your great pictures. The trip looks so cool.

Santorini looks amazing! you actually traveled around using four wheelers?! must have been so fun exploring things on your own! i really like the photo of those steps and your flats :D
Jaw-droppingly gorgeous photos! You look like you are in a make-believe land! I love your pops of red orange against the crisp blues and whites.
my jealously grows with every post!
looks like a heavenly weekend.
Santorini = my dream location to visit. So jealous! I love love that picture of your little red shoes on the stairs - so cute
What a fantastic trip! I love the photo with the stairs. So simple, but complex and textural and the red shoes! I'm glad I get to live vicariously through you and your trip to Greece! Is that creepy?
You're too pretty. In some pictures you look a lot like Kirsten Dunst (but with much better legs). Love your ray bans, btw!
seriously, i am so jealous!!! you just lived through one of the activities on my "must do before i die" list. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah xo
you take some of the most amazing photos!!! i love the black and white top in the last shot. is that a lace neckline or just embroidery? thanks for the constant inspiration.
I love that photo of you sitting in the doorway- your manor and the pealing paint are just great!
haha, MANNER...
oh, these are beautiful
such great photos!! Just wondering, do you always get people to take shots of you for your blog posts or do you take photos of yourself using self-timer? =) just wondering how to take such great photos if i dont happen to be around people I know at times...
oh. you are soo adorable! gorgeous! =]
Greece seems to be a beautiful country.
And you girl, you look gorgeous in the red glasses!
these photos are love love love!
Hi Sarah, I take my own pictures using a self-timer majority of the time. It's a very rare occasion when I ask someone else to take my picture--I have a very specific image in mind and it's difficult to get anyone else to capture it.
