Hello, would you like to come for a ride in my pocket?

To label either of these females as cute does strike me as lessening the impact of their elegant and thoughtful ensembles. And not knowing their height, but knowing my own diminutive stature I doubt they are shorter than me, so this may seem ridiculous--but I saw them and wanted to pick them up and place them in my pocket. Something in me screamed both adorable and "copy this!"facehunter, street, style, fashion, mixed, prints, blogthe sartorialist, street, fashion, style, blog, grandpa, cardigan

hahah thats funny cause im really small and people constantly say they want to put me in their pockets hahah. both of the girls are dressed very nicely. but out of the two, i like the second one better...its like a modernized version of a flapper in a way...

They are both really adorable! I like that they exude femininity without being overly frou frou and girly.

I really liked that look when I saw it on the Sartorialist as well. =) She is definitely stick-in-the-pocket worthy.

how adorable girls! I can see why you want to copy them. I'm quite short my self, so therfore I like getting inspiration from other short girls. The good news, we can always wear heels!

oh i love the first girl's outfit so much!! knit shorts - i would never came up with wearing this but it totally works!

The pattern mixing! The knit shorts! Note to self - Knit shorts immediately.

I love both of these! But I've already saved the second one into my inspiration folder - its a perfect look - both sweet/pretty and edgy/cool. Its all down to that grey cardigan to tie the whole thing together and make it feel casual and relaxed. Funny enough a long grey cardigan is top of my list for winter shopping!

They are both cute but I'm liking the second girl better. :)

i do know that feeling of wanting to put somebody in your pocket. have a miniturized version of the person and have them around. for inspiration, or just because they make you hjappy. it is a lovely thought, i think.

They are totally totally adorable and oh so well dressed, love the second girl.

I like the first girl the most, I think. The dotted/striped sweater is too good to be true. And the shorts is lovely with the grey tights and vintage shoes!

Just been catching up on your latest posts, seems like you are having a great time exploring...and making new friends, it's great that your stylish approach to dressing is helping...and it's lovely to do a bit of armchair travelling with you:)

and they both look comfortable in their clothes!!

Their legs look miles long in those outfits but they look more comfortable and endearing than va-va voom (if that makes any sense at all). If these ladies do end up in your pocket, maybe they can keep Nasha company--a very stylish trio indeed. ;)

I too am quite short, however, I'm not sure I've ever encountered someone wanting to put me in their pocket... hahah. Perhaps I am too intimidating for pocket status.

Either way, both of these ladies are quite whimsical and lovely. I agree with you (regarding last post) that how you dress is an extension of your personality and can affect whether people think you are interesting/want to get to know you/etc.

I have those boots the second girl is wearing. think I need to dust them off!

discothequechic said...

oh my gossh, i second that!

if the word cute isn't the most perfect the sum up bobble shorts, polka dot sweaters and pixie cut-beanie combos..

well, i'll eat my hat!..

i think the second girl is more petite. they both look so cute.

Tini weenie! I must be a petite magnet cause a lot of my close friends are pocket size. I like to refer to them as forest fairies or nymphs:)
