My Little Pony Is All Grown Up

You're hearing it from the (clothes) horse's mouth: My Little Pony turns 25 years old this year. In honor of the blessed occasion the company has enlisted 25 designers, celebrities, and artists to create 25 one of a kind My Little Pony figurines. The entire collection will be unveiled later this year and auctioned off with proceeds going to charity. You can visit their site now for the full story and a sneak peak at these stylish fillies.

P.S. The wonderful people at Weardrobe just featured my humble wardrobe on their site and on The Fashion Spot. There's a full interview and a small selection of some of my personally favorite photos.

P.P.S. This post is timed being typed up in the USO in the Philadelphia airport.

When I was younger, I wasn't a huge my little pony fan, but their 25 year celebration idea sounds so fun, I can't wait to see the results!

P.S. The fact your horoscope was so accurate is kind of scary...but mostly exciting!! Have a safe trip!! <33

My Little Pony is kind of like Hello Kitty for me- not somthing I was interested in when I was younger but as soon as I hit about 15 I desperately needed to get my hands on t shirts, bags, pencils, anything! so strange!

Like I need another MLP! However, I may break my pony buying ban to bid on one of those beauties.

Totally out of topic but...I laughed when I read the title because my best friend jokes calling me "My little pony".

I remember having My Little Ponies - My Mum HATED them.
I like the first one best I think...It reminds me of a Jeff Koons piece. Like those big Balloon poodles.

My Little Pony was so much fun, until they started creating TV cartoons and all sorts to do with it, then the magic kind of faded :(. Its fun to see what different things the designers have come up with for the little ponies' birthday though!!

Oh, I love My Little Pony! I still covet them when I pass toy stores, but there's no way I can justify spending money on them. Sigh.

I had the same thought that a couple of others did: I'm older than My Little Pony?! I loved My Little Pony and I'm excited to see how they're reinvented for the anniversary project.

Wow, I don't know why I thought MLP was older. Not to say she is looking older than she is. Girlfriend has no wrinkles, flawless skin, and the shiniest coat in the stable. She betta work.
That is awesome about being featured in TFS. Congrats!

I would love to design my own little pony. It would be wearing a cute little vintage outfit!

Haha, the my little pony names are rather crazy you know; they have this database online with hundreds of real MLP names and when we we're picking out stages names for our burlesque group that site was a huge inspiration :D Some names really sound more delicious and slightly naughtier than one would think...

I had a period when I was a kid when I would draw MLPs on every available surface with these bright pink markers. I might start doing that again :D
