Final Frontiers

I've been keeping myself very busy these last few days in Washington State--I want to squeeze every last bit out of this state before I fly away (after all you can sleep when you're dead). I went to Kopachuck State Park the other day while the tide was out and was able to admire beds of sand dollars, water worn and gnarled tree branches, and various other beach lovelies. I do prefer sandy beaches, as I have mentioned before, but there was something nice about all of the colors at this beach. Since the tide was out the stones were different colors from their various depths and exposure to sunlight: strips of seaweed running along the shore changed the tone completely. This is pretty much the only time I will wear flip flops and I did get rather muddy. I just prefer more pulled-together shoes such as sandals or ballet flats.

In other news, I have been quite addicted to the combination of black and brown lately. It is really all the fedora's fault. I'm still trying to wear clothes I won't take with me to Greece and this hat will get left behind--it gets crushed so much during travel...

I am really drawn to that last outfit. Looks so 20's gangster- very Bonnie & Clyde. The little tan shoes are perfect with it.
Love the bow on your diamond print dress as well.

Can I just say that I love all 3 outfits and you are rocking that fedora? I'm the same way about flip flops. I only wear them around the house, in hostel showers, or at the beach.

It sounds like you're getting the most of your time while near the water.

that's a great hat. I wonder if you'll have wardrobe withdrawal while you're away? I'm sure that you'll be distracted by other, way more exciting things.

you know, I hear that the Zara's are very inexpensive in Greece though...

Great outfit pics as usual. I think pacific northwest beaches can be just as or even more beautiful than tropical ones. Don't you just love that moody beauty they have?
