I'm currently swooning over the artwork of Gary Fernandez. He's created illustrations for Nokia, Coca Cola, numerous magazines, and books. His latest work I am enthralled by is an illustration book titled "Introduction to Fantastic Girls, Future Landscapes, and the Most Beautiful Birds Ever Seen." I like the combination of abstract lines he is playing with with more graphic figures and the girls
are fantastic...

They're beautiful.
Cool! Thanks for telling me about a great illustrator who I was not previously familiar with.
Pardon me, I need to clean up the puddle of drool on my desk.
Those are so stunning. I don't know that I have words to describe how much I love them.
SO incredible, he seems very talented!
Beautiful, very talented. We must share the same taste!
wow. these are so interesting to look at. i can definitely see his influence in some of the coke ads.
so pretty how women are incorporated into these pieces of art. they look so airy and light.

yes, i was going to say it reminds me of some of your doodles! very neat.
Great artwork! I'm pretty sure I remember seeing the Nokia illustrations before. I love the contrast between the colours and the b&w.
i am in love with these pictures.
Really beautiful work. It's just so abstract!
thanks for sharing! having fun in washington? have i missed your news about your possible time overseas?! are you going?! (fingers crossed!)
:)
they seem very surrealist to me... very lovely.
They are all so beautiful! They're kind of an art nouveau/dalĂ/awesome mix that I just can't resist. Oddly enough, the last one is probably my favorite, since it's the simplest one.
Wow that's funny that art is so similar to your style! It's gorgeous.
I can see why you like this type of illustration—your own work sometimes reflects similar themes.
It's beautiful.
how beautiful. i like the intricate lines and patterns. i don't think i have the patience for such work. i like big brush strokes in oil in case i mess up i still have options.
great artist
Pure beauty. I am loving the play with forms and bird silhouettes.

Have you seen works of Klaus Haapaniemi? It's a bit softer than these, but same sorf of.
These are scary (yeah, I'm a freak) and cute.

these are so amazing, i cant even begin to pick a favorite. love your outfits in the above post too! you look so darling sitting in that tree.
Too cool. Funny how art & mass commerce are overlapping in this way--though obviously not entirely new.
I fell in love with his designs when they posted this huge cola ad in front of my school. They really are amazing.
