There are numerous examples of fashion photo shoots taking place in construction sites, disaster zones or other wastelands. I suppose all of this is used to contrast with the artfully colorful and pretty pieces in a collection--making them a beacon of light and symbol of hope and civilization, and to compare the amount of construction and structure built into a single dress with dearth surrounding them. Or perhaps I’m thinking too complexly and the barren landscape can just make creations look more dramatic and beautiful. Either way, as some construction is taking place on campus right now I was inspired to pose by the tractor (once I was certain no one was around to yell at me). I felt as if I was continuing a long history in fashion editorials and guerrilla photo shoots…

oh, i'm all for bright colors! the brighter, the merrier ;)
thats such a sweet necklace!
I love people that wear bright colors, but I think I tend to dress more dark. I love how you took your pictures next to the big tractor! I would be too scared to actually sit on it though! lol
The more colours you can wear together (successfully), the more skilled you are at dressing yourself! At least that's what I tell myself. I love the top you're wearing!
your necklace is so cool as well as your belt! I seem to either dress in all black or pink. haha, I don't have a medium.
GORGOUS outfit.the colours and patterns are beautifull.love your belt tooxx
oo love your DIY vogue shoot here, and great green in your outfit! plus the necklace is awesome! as for your comment on my last post, i guess i failed to recognize the diverse nationalities of some of the models, however i still find it ironic or hypocritical that vogue literally just did a an article on racism in the industry yet still fails to not use the same models
The necklace is AWESOME & especially great with the sweet, pretty outfit.
I love the dress/top, and the necklace is so cool!
Your photographs are so cool! Love the composition.
xx
Great pictures! I love the way those colors look together.
Another pair of great tights! Tights season seems to be very far from here...I'm currently typing and using a fan with 31°C at home!
love love love the pics of you. black against a yellow tractor wouldn't be incongruent enough to have an impact. you look awesome. love the glasses too. especially the glasses. and the color.
fun idea! I like the girl in the white dress on the right and the color of your tights are pretty cool too!
I love the colors. That skirt is lovely. I love how you took pictures with the tractor--it is a nice contrast.
lovely contrast - works beautifully.
CRAZY! i came across that very same belt when thrifting the other day but i put it back because i already have one that's like it but alternates gold & silver around the "fish-scaley" part.
love the little flower on the buckle!
cute!

Omg, this outfit is perfect. The colors are beautiful!!! I like how your top matches your tights & the details are wonderful!
stunning colours, green and blue together are the best!
awesome necklace....I like what it says...wear what you want...youre "bulletproof" , anyone have anything bad to say? meh, who cares.... :P xx
My mum is always complaining because I wear too much black. So, I promised myself I am not going to buy any black garments this season.
Anyway, I love the necklace. It gives the whole look a different twist.
Oh... lovely and bright colors! I adore it!
I like the bright colours on you! I used to be into wearing loads of colour, but lately I find I've toned it down and am wearing more neutrals (today, it's a black tee and jeans with silver jewelry). Oh, and your "bulletproof" necklace made me laugh; it seems so unexpectedly ghetto fabulous.
I hadn't seen those David LaChapelle photos before. I love his work.
loving the color combinations here...so great! i would never think of pairing royal blue and mint green, but it's flawless!
You look lovely in glasses. And the second Esitorial photo is painting-ish.

your necklace is amazing!! Nice find!
I love it! And the bulletproof necklace is a nice touch :)
LOVE David LaChapelle, I want his books but I am so poor!
I really love your Bullet Proof necklace - it's so kitsch!
I love the colours, and necklace. I wish I was more attracted to wearing colours myself.
what a necklace .. wauw ! :)
Love the necklace, and the hole outfit is as allways perfect. Who takes your pictures?
for sure, find a great place to take pictures is a challange and those sets are so cool, i love the contrasts :))
great shots!
a kiss!!!
Oooh oooh! What a fantastic necklace!!!
It's been a while since i stopped by your blog and it looks like I've been missing out! whoever made up that old saying 'blue and green should never be seen' ws oh so wrong
Bright is brave, bright is bold!
The tights are great!
I always admire people who can dress in entirely bright outfits. I really wish I could.
in *LOVE* with your "Bulletproof" necklace. :)
you get better and better everyday. i love the construction site setting and the bulletproof necklace.
wow I admire you for dressing brightly!
I try to but always go back to black!
You are lucky to have the talent to dress brightly and look fabulous!
Oh my, what beautiful colors. Cute outfit, very nice indeed.
Love the pictures and the location. Great contrast.
LOVELY uotfit :D<3
I love your outfit here and how it contrasts with the yellow of the tractor! I need to get more colour in my life I think around 75% of my wardrobe is black...
dresses brightly and acts secretively. i love that! that kind of used to be me. but, i'm not a bright color person anymore. i'm more of a greys and whites and navys with a few washed out yellows and pinks thrown in now and then. <3
i love the tractor shots. how do you take your photos? self-timer?
brilliant cobalt blue skirt works with the heavy machinery.
I've been visiting your blog on a regular basis but I finally got around to adding you in my blogroll.
now it's easier than ever to come back. :)
Cute, the necklace is a nice touch. I did a photoshoot of my friend with a tractor once as well!
love the one of you on the caterpillar!
Really great colored tights.
The colors are all so bold and not many people can work it so well. I mean you look so good!
You're just so darling. Love the splash of color, and love the necklace. It's edgy :)
colors are great! why abandon them when we don't see in monochrome? :) fashion isn't about dressing in black, it's about putting an outfit together perfectly regardless of color. you've done a fantastic job! :)
You look gorgeous in brights!
It's always interesting to me how personal style does assert itself, even when you are trying a new look.
ps- i want that wonderful necklace- lovely!
That bulletproof is hawt!! I am the same way, color crazy! I hate to be in basic and dark clothing.
Your photos are always so lovely.
I'm loving brights too, although I have been trying to put more black and neutrals into my wardrobe lately.
oh wow! i LOVE what you're wearing, you look amazing! i'm a huge fan of colour :-)
very fabulous!
omg, the bulletproof necklace!!!11!!1!!!
it's perfect!
and so is this photoshoot!
<3
The least pic is darling!
'Destruction chic' might be in but I like your pics much better!

This must be one of my favourite outfits on you! All the blues, greens and gold look so good together and it looks great on you, dear! I also love the idea of having your shoot next to a tractor.
