Since I can’t be abroad at exotic locales, I must make an adventure of a location closer to home. I find that when one goes on safari it is best to dress simply and attempt to blend in with your surroundings. Leopard print flats are definitely a must, not just for comfortable walking, but also to help make friends with the local wildlife.

Outfit details: dress- H&M, shoes- some shop in Japan, belt- secondhand, necklaces- various sources
P.S. The pictures were taken in the extensive Natural History Museum at my school. The heads were hung at the actual height of the animals. And yes, they are real…

wow, interesting location and great photos! you blend in well, i love how you've dressed.
I love Natural History museums! Really cool pics!
Oh, leopard print flats are so much fun!
Great connection between fashion and the world of wildlife. Very creative
This might really sound weird, but you always wear your clothes with this subtle sexiness - I think it must be in combination with your glasses and your still childlike facial features, but everything looks so darn alluring, despite its simplicity. Gosh - I definitely do not want to sound like Humbert Humbert, I fear I do, though ^^
leopard prints! you look soo good.
p/s: you look soo sweet in the outift below.
Aww poor animals =[
But it's cool they hang the heads at the real height of the animals.. but it's still sad.. I hate animal killing and such.
Regardless, your outfit is very nice, I love your dress and how the belt seems to be exactly at your waste, very cute. And your shoes are mighty fine =]
i can never decide if places like this freak me out of fascinate me...both i guess!
i've tagged you!
I lo ve your flats and you look so good in your pretty green dress!
I love the sweet touch of the animal print flats. Very cute.

Your comment about the leopard print flats was perfect for this brief-ish post. What fantastic environs for a shoot!

Excellent pose with the elephant!

Careful they bite!
Cool!
So loving you in green, R. And those shoes are awesome....
I always get really excited when you wear green, because your hair looks so lovely with it! Cute outfit :)
Do they let you lean on the elephant like that? I always want to take pictures like that when I visit museums, but I'm worried they'll yell! Haha.
And ahh, how I love couture. Some day I definitely need to get a couture gown.... Right after I marry rich :P
taxidermy is quite fascinating, no?
you look lovely in that shade of green, and i love love love your bangs! i cant say it enough.

<3 the green dress!
great shots as always!
did you feel sad to be amongst all those dead animals? i think i would have, though they make a lovely addition to your photos.
I've never been much if an animal print person. But I do like the idea of leopard print flats. I look forward to Paris couture just about every year. haha.
hi,
was wondering what's the model of your camera? love the rustic touch to it. and you're so prety!
If camouflage was intended, it did not work well. You stand out, among all the beasts, this little ring master :P
I can't post for a while because i got a virus on my laptop. Great way to catch up on all the awesome blog posts, though.
i love these pictures!
I like a lot creepy Natural History Museums...! These photos are a neat idea :-)
That's cool that there's Natural History Musuem at your school. Looks like there's many interesting things to look at there!
Your school has a Natural History Museum? That's great! We have a huge one in London which I just love. Seeing all the dinosaur skeletons and such - it makes you feel rather humbled and privileged to be part of world history :)
Very cute pictures! Love them!
oh, i completely agree, the coutoure season in paris is wonderful. sometime i will visit it, be sure. and i do also dream about more exotic places, but i can tell, i would rather be in pensylvania than in sweden...
You always think of the best scenarios to take pics....how do you do it???
^Anonymous, I use a Canon Powershot SD1000.
I really like the 4th last & last picture! I like clothes wit animal prints & your leopard flats are amazing!
love the location and the flats are perfect for where you went!
well, I live in Paris and would prefer rural Pennsylvania to spend my summer holidays ! it's raining all the time in Paris ! couldn't we do an exchange ?
^Nina, I would exchange with you in a heartbeat! I've never been to Paris. But would you also like to take over my job? ^_-
Green is such a great color on you!! Such a cool creepy place to take outfit shots.
ELEPHANT!!
