Jonathon Saunders Resort 2009 caught my eye. A lot of the looks reminded me of updated fairytale princesses for some reason (which is a look I'm currently really into), but mostly I was intrigued by some of the layered and draped hemlines I saw.

This is amazing! It reminds me of those gorgeous wedding dresses... Except toned down a bit! The colors you're wearing are, incidentally, my high school colors, haha, so I love it even more!
-saves pic- :P
I have noticed lots of layering recently. I am layering white thin jersey cami with spaghetti strap dresses in bright color and bold print with necklaces of various length.
so clever, and it worked beautifully!
Thanks! Wow, I prefer your dress, it's amazing!!! love it *.* and with that skirt it's perfect :)

that looks really nice
I'll have to try the safety-pinned hemline myself
wow, love this!! great colour combination!
it reminds me of the michelle lowe holder's (http://www.lowe-holder.com/) a/w collection. yum,
and, yay for bird tattoos! i have one on my wrist (:
Hey ! This is great ! Very beautiful idea and I do like these green tones
i never check resort so thanks for highlighting this! i really like the idea, and especially the hot colours they've used
You've done an amazing job with those safety pins, it looks gorgeous!
Love, love, love your tattoos. And the drapy layering is inspired.
I like his use of color.
Quite nice!
But did it stay properly? Sometimes before I've tried similar stuff but the draping never stayed good looking for long...
I love how your efforts turned out, and the colours you've paired in the outfit
you look like a forest nymph. A very stylin' forest nymph.
Very cool (and so simple!) DIY. The two colors are fantastic together. & of course your tattoos are lovely.

Very nice! I think your dress looks even better!
once again, you have given me inspiration!
such a great idea, and not difficult to do. yet it makes such a difference. lovely. i especially love green and yellow together.
It looks very lovely and soft. I like this a lot!
I like your interpretation with the contrasting colors. Yellow and green are wonderful in summer.
you look like some forest sprite or something, idk. xD The layered hemline is such a good idea. You are so fashionable, you make me feel bad about my own style lol. I think I make have to try this hemline thing out myself since you make it look so cool. :)
awesome job! as one poster above said, it does look very soft. i'm impressed, and jealous of the most perfect dress ever.

I'm green with envy. ;]
I love the back of the dress and the colors. The draping is so effortless, but adds a lot to the outfit!
You've done a good job. The front looks gorgeous.
This is one look I have found boys do not understand. I have a gorgeous skirt from a few years back (I guess I'll post about it soon now that I have mentioned it) and each time I wear it I get teased that I'm wearing the kitchen curtains! haha.
The draping from Saunders collection is amazing. I really like your recreation.
U look positively beautiful :) Love how u find ur inspirations.
I love this idea..!! I think I will try this out myself :)
I love your blog!!! Wow.......the photography is insane :)

oh my gosh excellent job
quite nifty
What a great idea to wear the dress like that :).
I prefer resort photos to runway photos. They transition to real life better. But I prefer your photos the best! (does that even make sense)
Love the dress, defo a good look! I'm curious to see how different it would look if you pinned it from below the waist, so the bottom was loose.
Lovely clothes!
I really really love that outfit!
Amazing! I love your blog:)
Trade links?
I really like Jonathon Saunders at the moment. He is on a roll!
That's a brilliant idea!
You're a genius.
I really like your tattoos..they are so awesome! I love how you pinned it to get that effect. Green & yellow goes so good together! I have no guts to pin my clothes or put a brooch. I am really scared of all those holes I'll get! =/
When I read about the safety pins at the top i was scared, but it actually looks cool!! good job.
xx
Very clever draping....
great job.. very creative!
I've to say it again and again:I love your tattoos. The bright dress is very cute.It reminds me again to kind of candy :D
What a lovely idea! The dress looks wonderful. Love your tattoos as well! P.s. I have linked you, I hope you don't mind!
The dress fits in really well with the woodsy setting. And also, I love how a lot of the dresses you wear show off your tatoos. They're beautiful!
Just wondering, what kind of camera do you have?
great job with the draping!
it looks spectacular.
Amazing safety pinning skills! I actually like your version the best!
Gorgeous, as ever!
The photos are lovely!!!
Zepequeña.
You colour combo also reminds me of Robin Hood :) Very whimiscal and romantic.
That belt is definitely ON. And all of a sudden, the "finding the narrowest part of your torso" advice is evident in your outfit. Great from, young lass!
ooh, it looks great!!! il ike how it still works with different materials.
once again, the tatoos look great...i realize they will not go away, but i feel obligated to tell you how cool they are every time i see them. tee hee.
love your interpretation and the colors are a great combination. what a great way to liven up a dress in your closet.
Hey, wow love the look, the interpretation is great. Your style is so unique, Oh and good luck on the shopping ban :)
Bye
xx
Pure perfection!
Oh cute!
It also reminds me of like curtains, you know? On the side of windows, I love themm and it looks so nice as a dress!
Very cute, and I also really like the colours you used together =]
clever girl, you pulled it off beautifully.
i have a favourite dress to do this too as well, but it's less soft so it puffs out angularly, a bit vivienne westwood.
your take is much more romantic, i must try!
omg i love your outfit and your tattoos..so beautiful!!
Oh, I really love this!
The setting is perfect too, it really has that fairytale ambiance.
I love the way the back of the dress frames your tattoos, and the earthy colour combination of the green an mustard
love it!

I have been thinking about asking this for quite some time. Aren't you afraid or worried about having your tattoo design being used/copied by someone else? Since it is posted online many people may go ahead and take the design you drew and having it tattooed on themselves. And if that did happen would you be upseat, indifferent or flattered?
^Anonymous, interesting questions! I guess I just don't consider my blog that popular or myself that inspiring that I think someone would want to copy my tattoo. Ultimately if it did happen I think I would be a bit bothered and flattered. In the end, it wouldn't bug me that much though because I chose the significance, I designed it, drew it and it's my creation--whatever anyone else does is just a copy. I have the original. It would be very strange to see it in person on someone else though!
i love dresses like these, but i haven't found one cheap enough to buy...and there's no way i could pin it up myself. hahaha. i love the green color of your dress! gotta love trusty ol' f21.
xx,
sarah
holy crapoli, i LOVE your tattoos. nice outfit, too!
i love your tattoos, & you've inspired me to get my second one in the same spot. not stealing your design. but i love where they're placed.
