Dusk to Dusk

Driving through the countryside at dusk really makes living in the middle of nowhere feel worthwhile. The shadows stretch long and dramatic, while the sunlight turns golden and casts an ethereal glow on everything it touches. Mundane fields and fences turn beautiful with a soft Midas touch and even the cows are lent a spot of glamour in this light. While shifting speed limits, sharp turns, and tailgating vehicles make me a nervous driver, it all somehow just feels like a roller coaster ride and butterflies in the stomach are a sensation to be savored, not feared. At the end of the day, it isn't the location that makes the person...theclotheshorse, the clothes horse, vintage, secondhand, fascinator, wood sprite, fairy, fashion, style, personal, jazz, shoes, goldtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, vintage, secondhand, fascinator, wood sprite, fairy, fashion, style, personal, jazz, shoes, goldtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, vintage, secondhand, fascinator, wood sprite, fairy, fashion, style, personal, jazz, shoes, goldtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, vintage, secondhand, fascinator, wood sprite, fairy, fashion, style, personal, jazz, shoes, goldtheclotheshorse, the clothes horse, vintage, secondhand, fascinator, wood sprite, fairy, fashion, style, personal, jazz, shoes, gold

Loev your belt and dress! I'm the opposite I don't know why, but riding (I still haven't learned how to drive) around like the way you described actually stresses me out.

Dear Clothes-H,
As great as all these photos are, and as wonderful as you look in them, I think we have gotten the POINT. Perhaps it is time for some more 'fashion exploration'. In this way, you can show more (bold) creativity, in case you want a job someday in the fashion industry; or in case, you want to connect this website with a business idea of yours someday. Your energy and your time is valuable- perhaps it is time to progress just a little further, away from mere posing; but towards a fusion you would like.
Just a thought,

T-V angel.

Hey, someone is getting all poetic! And doing a good job too :) Your text is changing in stayle and impact, and I mean this in a good way. I love those shoes. They look comfy and cute.

I live in a concrete jungle, so I can only crave countryside. Green isn't a common color around here... more grey and well, dull.

^T-V Angel, I'm pretty sure you don't get the point. This is a photo diary of what I wear every day and what is inspiring me, it's not about breaking into the fashion industry. You want me to change my style and while I am willing to explore things, I'm not changing things to fit into some fashion box. Perhaps a little more clarification can come from this old post: http://theclothes.blogspot.com/2007/12/icicles-and-comments.html. But just once again, this is a blog by a clothes horse, not a fashion blog. And I'm not even certain I want a career in the fashion industry...
Anyonymous 2:42, my links seem to be intact. If you are referring to a specific link then I apologize but I do have a policy of deleting links to sites that don't seem to update themselves regularily. Let me know if there is a particular site I shouldn't have removed.
