My friends and I had a mini-movie marathon of Hitchcock movies. We checked out "
Psycho," "
Rebecca," "
The Birds," and "
Vertigo" from the library, but only actually watched two and a half. I really wanted to watch "
North by Northwest" since that is my favorite Hitchcock movie (mostly due to the hotness that is Cary Grant), but it was sadly checked out. Still you can't go wrong with
Hitchcock.

Outfit details: dress- Forever 21, belt- vintage, skirt (under)- American Eagle, altered by me, shoes- Gap, socks- gift

ohhhhhhhhhhh cary grant is amazing. i haven't watched the hitchcock movies in awhile, you make me miss them!
also, your tattoo with your dress is absolute perfection.
Hitchcock marathons sound fun. Reminds me so much of film school where they always make the film 101 students watch Rear Window on the first day.
The photos look great and love the backless dress...
Green really suits you =].
I love Hitchcock, I think my favourite film of his is 'Rope' =]

Love that green dress and the belt. My faves from Hitchcock movies are Rear window, The Birds and Psycho. Love the outfits Grace Kelly has on in Rear Window, such a class act.
Great color for you.
I love your belt and your gorgeous tattoo, of course. The library is a nice setting for outfit pictures.
OMG, I looove your tattoo. How cool is that. Your dress is gorgeous and the color suits you perfect.

I really like your hair like that!
The hotness that is Cary Grant could convince me to watch pretty much anything. :)
I love this dress!
Yesterday I was digging through the 5$ bin of DVDs at Walmart, and some girls were as well. They were my age, but clearly the kind of girl who likes to act stupid for no apparent reason.
"Alfred Hitchcock? I'm pretty sure he's older than my grandma."
I wanted to cry and die at the same time.
Rebecca was always my favorite, and The Birds scared me, but Rear Window freaked me out the most because I grew up in an apartment like that and was always afraid I would notice something.
I love your library pictures, they're always so warm and golden!
I love your hair and Cary Grant :D
your tattoo and ur dress are nice!

i just LOVE. THIS, DRESS. i love emerald green
the green is gorgeous against your skin!
i'm loving the tattoos here.
if we're talking hichcock, recommend the 39 steps and marnie.
I have to agree about north by northwest. a close second is vertigo! what a fun weekend.
I love your green dress. I'm hoping they have something similarly simple & modest when I got to F21 tomorrow.
Sadly I haven't watched any Hitchcock films... any suggestions where to start?
Love the green dress, I have one similar to yours- I can't wait to get back home to wear it in the summer heat.
Hitchcock! My film teacher last year was obsessed with Hitchcock (and rightfully so). Which of the movies did you end up watching?
The green dress is gorgeous, btw... what a great color!
i LOVE hitchcock! i havent commented in a while because of exams, so..:i agreed on the ease of just wearing a dress. SO much easier. the midnight scream looks SO FREAKING COOL!!!! reminds me of my school...some of my friends had a phase of wearing cardboard helmets and sheild around. in class. for about a month. i love stam and that b&w gingham dress. and question about the nail polish brand, does NYC stuff work well? its soo cheap, and im always tempted to but it, but does it stay on relatively long? cute shade too.
Love the photos. Libraries are fun, aren't they?
The dress is gorgeous, really flatters your tattoos, which look great. =)
Haven't seen any Hitchcock. I really should, shouldn't I?

Just a girl
ohh, i'm such a sucker for the fiml section in libraries. i meant to pick up a bout de souffle from my college one for the weekend and forgot..
and it's terrible, even though i see myself as a real cinema nerd, i'm not familiar with the hitchcock classics!
a fact for you..cary grant grew up in my city.. a fact i always find very bizarre, considering that he went all hollywood on us!
love the low back of this dress; very pretty!
Yay its the return of library shoots! I love Hitchcock's Rebecca too, its very intense (and not to mention a little creepy..)
I am so indefinitely envious about your self-timer skills, and how you dare taking them in PUBLIC! I would never dare to pose in the midst of our local library, always fearing to be discovered between the shelves. The results are so amazing, though, I should overcome my shyness...
What the kitten said! And the tattoo is AWESOME!
I <3 Hitchcock too, although I have to say that Psycho made me laugh more than scared 'why, she wouldn't even harm a fly' cracks me up!
xx
funny thing! i had made plans to watch north by northwest last night with my sister! We found it quite entertaining :) but i definitely agree that cary grant is all that is hot. haha.
your dress is really cute and it looks great with the skirt under it!
i'm in love with your tattoo, i can't wait until i'm old enough to get one. hopefully i won't chicken out. ha
Hitchcock is my favourite director ever! All his movies fascinate me, they are little pieces of perfection!
My favorite green dress is back!
You and your amaaazing green dresses! major major love :)

I have that same belt! Except that mine has a hot pink elastic and the wings have baby pink and light yellow. I really like that color belt too, it's much more toned down.
