I love them because they can be worn with shoes I'd rather not be barefooted in and then of course they have aesthetic value. I like the last two of your pairings best.

I am so in love with these. It's like having an entirely new pair of shoes! I love the red spotted ones, and the scalloped edges of all of them are just so preciously whimsical!

I am with Zoe, how amazing is your shoes collection!! It is the stuff that flats lovers dream about. Those socks are gorgeous though, I had to re-look at the pics to actually realise those were socks haha. My favourites are the red with white polkadots, those are so cute :D

I need some footie socks, especially now, I bought a pair of shoes at goodwill today without really looking at the inside of them and when I got home discovered they're all flaky inside. It seems like such a shame to throw them away though because they're so cute so I might have to find me some footie socks, thanks for the idea! And yesss, I have the same problem with knee highs, they stay up when I wear them with tights but not when worn by themselves.

The only footie socks I've found are flesh coloured old ladies ones, yuk. And that's an enviable shoe collection you have there!
