I'm Hooked On A Feeling
The weather has been so pleasant lately I just want to spend all of my time outdoors doing absolutely nothing. I feel a wee bit uncomfortable in these shorts, since they are not the longest (which is my own fault since they were originally pants that I kept cutting, cutting, cutting) and I don't have to most toned legs, but there's something very retro and pin-up feeling about them.

I asked my mom if I could get a tattoo when I was 20 (I was inspired by how well yours turned out! And I also liked the ones you posted in an old post) but she said no. It was sad, haha. She said we'll see when I'm 20, yay! But anyways, your hair looks lighter? And little buns suit you very well!

High-waisted shorts yay! I love them and they seem to really suit you. I understand the problem of cutting jeans into shorts, last year I started cutting a pair of bleached ck jeans I had had forever, I wore them quite long for about a week but realized I looked a bit too much like Axl Rose. So I had them cut by a californian friend (what a mistake!)who cut them so short they are now proper hot pants!
Anyhow, you look adorable in those, can't believe it's warm enough where you are to wear shorts already, I'm dead jealous!

I am there with you. Once I tried to crop a pair of Versace jean and in the end, it became a pair of shorts... Which I might say is still not perfect. But, I figure I should stop.
I cut my pants to make shorts and they look so awful now... I've since banished them to the land of no return... *shudders*

The shorts aren't too tight so the length doesn't matter...plus your legs look great in them!

well, I think they look great, so you shouldn't feel uncomfortable. I think it may be one of those things when you perceive them in a different way to others because they don't look that short to me!
I've been trying to find the right pair of jeans to cut up into shorts at the goodwill shops in NY, and keep finding the rights ones until I realise they're just wayy to baggy around the arse!
