Quintessential Me

I still don't feel that I have a definitive style (in drawing, art, fashion, life, etc.), but at the moment I would say this outfit is very much me. My customized tights, assassin shoes (comfortable and silent, perfect for sneaking up), a dress, and a vest; really can it get more me? On the right are the backs of 20 clues I made for my friend's 21st birthday party she had to follow them in a scavenger hunt to find the party. I decorated them/collage them so she could save them afterwards, I like the randomness of the collection.

I think I'm going to have to steal the scavenger hunt idea, and I'm jealous that you've at least found one outfit that is quintessentially you. I feel like I've been searching for that for a while now

I think it's awesome you wear dresses/skirts all the time. I wish I could do that, but it's just not me.

The tights look fabulous! And those cards are very cool. I saw a girl a couple of days ago wearing tights, a simple dress, and a vest. It reminded me of you.

I'm creepy. :)

I still can't get over the fact that those amazing tights are customized by you. You are very talented and have such a great sense of style, that's probably why I love your blog so much. And I agree that this does look like a very 'you' look :)

I love the scavenger hunt idea, such a nice birthday surprise <3

Cool outfit and great decoration!

According to your entry at my blog:
I've got two different glasses I wear: The one seen in the post yesterday is just for fun, but I got another pair from ebay, looking really cute and accidentally they fits perfect for vision aid.

and there was me thinking I was too old for treasure trails!
Such a genius idea and the collages are very "veeesually pleasing".

Easter egg hunts, anyone?

LOL... Assassin shoes! Yup... that's a "killer" set, alright :)

Really, I don't know what I love more about your blog... your adorable rants, your cute poses, or your lovely clothes. You seemed to have cracked the trick for making a petite frame stand out.

Btw, not all guys are wary of girls with glasses. My husband noticed me because my glasses gave "character" to my face :)

Scavenger hunt parties sound like so much fun. A nice alternative to surprise parties, which people usually see coming...

I sound like a terrrrible stalker, but I think this applies to most people who participate in daily outfit/street style communities - style seems to reside more in the attitude with which someone wears something rather than what exactly they're wearing. So your outfits might always seem a little kitsch, more from your way of posing or even posting, than from the outfit itself. Whenever I flick through wardrobe remix or fashion blogs I can always anticipate what someone's latest outfit will put me in mind of.

The idea for the party is lovely! And fo the style, I still don't know how to define it!

Hmm, quintessential you...that's a good question. I don't know if I could say I have a style. I'd like to think it's evolving even now.

And you look fantastic, as always.

Your tights are awesome, I want a pair just like them!

if that´s you, then you´re adorable.
seriously, that´s so normal. people whould always think I have my very straight style but actually I haven´t. I´m always on the run. but I wear oxfords. ;)

i started admiring that perfect outfit (and pose!) before i even glanced at the text. reading that this look is very "you" wass almost unnecessary...it's very obvious from how comfortable you look.

i don't mean to say stop writing accompanying tales with your pics... love the "assasin shoes." :) and the scavenger hunt!
