Details Make a Difference

My much-worn and nearly favorite floral dress has freed itself from the closet for another day and received an exclamation of "oh my, what a lovely dress!" while parading down the hallway. It endured a bit of an update with a new sash-scarf and some pins added to the collar.
Snow came down in a terrible rush yesterday, every last flake seemed to possess some extremely important appointment. "I'm late, I'm late, for a very important date!" They seemed cry as they swirled past and were delayed by my own passage.
Perhaps in the confusion of white I fell down the rabbit hole with them, for I ended up chasing fairey-lights all night.

The scarf bow around the waist is so nice - good thinking. I wish I would come up with ideas like that!

Wonderful dress. Im guessing its vintage. I love the pin too, although the scarf at the waist is not my favorite thing.

Oh wait. Looking at it better now, I like the scarf. And the print on the dress.

I like the print on your dress, and the contrast of the sash. Snow hasn't been coming donw for us much of late but what is on the ground won't go away.

That's a nice pattern - on -pattern combination with the ewcarf and the dress. It's edgy but still harmonic.

Definitely jealous of the snow you're getting...middle of the road weather is so dull...
