Bad Seeds or Poor Gardening?
I had the oppurtunity to re-watch "Boys Town" this weekend (and I took it). While the movie is fantastically done with both Spencer Tracy and Mickey Rooney (who doesn't love the young Mickey?) and the true story is equally heart-warming, I couldn't help if there was a bit of a fallacy in Father Flanagan's theory that there are no "bad boys." Basically, he blames the ills of society and tough breaks in life for all the boys' misbehavior. I just wonder if in today's modern thinking we could claim the same. Are there sometimes merely bad boys, or bad seeds (another good film)? If we are partly nurture and partly nature created, then is it not possible to be wholly bad? Or do we always choose our evil? Very perplexing indeed...

Well if it was the ladybug, I'd have to say he's caused quite a fashionable outfit. Love the different patterns of the skirt and tights.
v. cute, I love the tights!
cute!
how did you put in a custom background??
I think the outfit was the result of a combo-effect.
I think we all choose how to behave, given the examples set for us. We all have time to think about how we're going to react, and what we're going to do, but maybe we disregard that little voice that tells us not to behave "badly" sometimes.
Just a thought.
The pin is entirely my favorite thing on this outfit.
I went to Target and got 6 pairs of tights for three dollars each. Thanks for the tip!
Ladybugs are very pushy.
The tights are just to cute! I love them!
love your tights!!!!
For me it's society that turns one into a good or a bad person. The education you receive, the enviroment where you grow up, etc...There are exceptions, obviously, because there are certain psychiatric illness that can turn one evil. But overall, it's society in my opinion.
"A clocwork orange" or "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" come to mind.
By ladybug, you mean ladybirds right... just confused between US/UK vocab.... if so, then ladybird-influenced outfit is excellent!
lovely, a ladybug!
your outfit is just as lovely but most of all I love your poses! I tried a little jump myself yesterday but my face looked as if I was drowning then.
I guess I´ll have to do a post including all screwed up pictures some time!
Cute outfit!
I think it is society, or other people, or traumatic experiences, or whatever, that create "bad people". People are not born bad, of course unless they are born with some kind of personality disorder which causes them to lack empathy or other human qualities. But I wonder, it's not something they can choose, so can they really be blamed?
Of course, in the end, the choices we make are solely in our own hands.
I love the lady bug inspiration! Just goes to show inspiration can be found anywhere.
Ultra cute
I love your funky poses!
