They say the way you spend your New Year can decide how you will spend the rest of the year. Last year I hiked on an active lava flow by moonlight and threw champagne bottles into a skylight (where you could look down and see the active lava traveling beneath your feet). Later that year I traveled alone to Japan to study the language, drank for the first time, experienced a lot of firsts and started this blog. Tonight I will be bowling with my family through midnight, who knows what the year will entail?

Happy New Year :)
I don't expect anysthing from 2008 but I will try to do my best to work on mistakes I made ^^:
I hope the start of the year isn't a symptomatic thing for me, though, it was crashingly dull.
But hiking on a lava flow sounds like an amazing way to kick it off. My personal mission when I was younger was to get to see the aurora borealis...maybe that won't happen this year, but I do intend to make it sometime.
Hope 2008 will be a fab year for you, and that we get to hear about it!
Hmmm. I didn't drink too much and I hung out with some people I like and then I went home early in a beautiful snowstorm. I wonder what that says about my 2008?
Uh-oh..bowling might lead to a year of scary shoes!
Happy New Year and may you accumulate many more wildly eclectic NYE's....
I really hope that old saying isn't true!!
Happy new year!

All your New Year's sound way cooler than any of mine!
